  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 2, 2013 -> 10:58 AM) Robinson Cano fires Scott Boras, becomes the first client of Roc Nation, owned by Jay-Z. John Harper of the New York Daily News was told by a source that Robinson Cano wants to get a deal done with the Yankees "sooner rather than later." Harper was told that Cano isn't comfortable with so much attention being focused on his impending free agency, so it's possible that a difference in philosophy is part of what caused him to dump Scott Boras and make the switch to CAA and Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports. There's been little progress in negotiations over the past couple of months, but the pace could pick up quickly now that he has new representation. The 30-year-old is currently due to hit free agency following the 2013 season. Per Rotoworld

  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 29, 2013 -> 12:23 PM) There's a report that Reid Flair, Ric's kid, died at age of 24. According to pwinsider.com, Reid Flair, the son of Ric Flair, passed away at the age of 24. The cause of death at this time is not known. Reid has been training for years to be a professional wrestler, with Bobby Eaton and George South training him. He was going to debut on ROH TV when his father was working for the company, but ROH backed off of the plans due to the younger Flair being arrested for heroin possession. Reid had recently been working for All Japan, and WWE had taken a look at him. Word was that WWE was considering signing him for the developmental system. UPDATED: The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has confirmed Reid Flair (Reid Fliehr)'s death. He was found this morning in a hotel in Charlotte around 10:35AM ET. The hotel staff at the Marriott Residence Inn near SouthPark found an "unresponsive man" which led them to call the police. While Police have not confirmed the cause of death, the initial belief is an overdose. No "foul play" seems to be involved.
  14. QUOTE (The Critic @ Mar 28, 2013 -> 04:40 PM) I read that the original plan was for Jericho to turn heel and feud with Ryback, but "creative" put Henry with Ryback instead. This Fandango thing feels very thrown-together, and I don't like the character at all. He bores me to death. Fandango will be a total bust..............you hear crickets everytime he comes out.
