  5. QUOTE (southside_hitman @ Mar 9, 2013 -> 12:55 PM) "Ozzie Guillen on Peavy vs. Pierzynski: "'I always say when two white guys fight, the foreigners stay away from that,' said Guillen, a native of Venezuela. ‘I just got my (citizenship) two years ago. I want to stay away from that.'" As I mentioned earlier, I do not want to engage you in any discussion here, and I won't, but it is interesting that you want to engage me. Sorry dude, you are on my permanent ignore list. If that is your proof STFU!

  8. Wow very unwhitesox like.................I like the deal overall. The extension, which includes club options for 2018 and 2019, will cover his final pre-arbitration season, all three of his arbitration seasons and at least one year of free agency. Sale will make $850,000 this season, $3.5 million in 2014, $6 million in 2015, $9.15 million in 2016 and $12 million in 2017. The White Sox hold a $12.5 million option (or $1 million buyout) for 2018 and a $13.5 million option for 2019 (or a $1 million buyout). If Sale maxes out on the deal, he would make a total of $57.5 million. There's risk to committing to any young pitcher, but this could work out very favorably for the White Sox if Sale can hold up. 9. QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 6, 2013 -> 09:29 PM) Might want to save some of these good fortunes for the postseason. Very true not to win the cup at this point would be a bad season in alot of fans eyes!

Bearer was in poor health... - Paul Bearer reportedly complained of a blood clot days before his death. TMZ reports that according to Cauliflower Alley Club board member Bob Kelly, Bearer was in poor health on March 2nd at a club reunion event and had a severe breathing problem, coughing and having trouble standing for long periods of time. Bearer complained of suffering a blood clot and said he planned to seek treatment for respiratory issues. Kelly says that Bearer went to the hospital right after the reunion and was informed that he was being treated for a blood clot! Per 411

  14. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 5, 2013 -> 11:47 AM) Illinois just lost their OL coach to Purdue, to take on the same role. Wow. It never ends. A person familiar with the decision says Illinois offensive line coach Jim Bridge is leaving just over a month after he was hired. Bridge is taking a job at Purdue, according to the person who was not authorized to publicly discuss the departure and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday. Bridge was hired Jan. 23 by Illinois coach Tim Beckman. He will become an assistant on first-year Purdue coach Darrell Hazell’s staff. The Illini start spring practices Tuesday and had announced last week they’d finished filling out their staff. Beckman has already turned over more than half his staff after a 2-10 season. The school said he was not available for comment. Beckman is a clown left after little over a month!

Just need to let the bone heal so it doesn't injure the ulnar nerve as it goes through the tunnel of guyon of the the hook of the hamate (the part they remove) makes up one of the sides. About 1/3 of all MLB hitters have this done at one time or another. Why not do this in the offseason?

  22. Webb, 24, was arrested Sunday night after police pulled him over for speeding on I-57. His 2007 Ford was clocked at 11 miles above the 65 mph speed limit about six hours south of Chicago, according to Paula Pilgram, executive secretary for the Pulaski County sheriff's office. After being pulled over, police found less that 2.5 grams of marijuana, Pilgram said, reading from a police report. Per Tribune Puzzles me how he got out of it so quickly.

  24. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 25, 2013 -> 10:38 PM) How many superstar wrestlers for wwe have lost 3 straight ppvs? I doubt many top card wrestlers have, that is a pretty silly thing to complain about. Hell, I doubt taker or hogan have lost 2 in a row, much less three According to Pwinsider.com, the Undertaker is expected back on TV shortly, possibly as soon as Monday's Old School Raw. As of last week, the Undertaker vs. CM Punk was official for WrestleMania 29. At this time, creative is said to be scrambling to fast track the angle, which started with Punk's promo on Monday referring to himself as an "icon" above Superstars and God. Internally there is concern with building to the match, due to Punk losing two PPVs in a row and then to Cena on Monday. Many feel that the loss to Undertaker at WrestleMania could really damage one of the two names (the other being John Cena) who show they can draw on the road currently. Looks like WWE thinking about what I did about Punk.
