Te'o knew the girlfriend was fake LONG before he told anyone and was enjoying all the publicity. The lad has serious issues, and this whole thing is gonna cost him dearly. The fact he, Brian Kelley & the school won't answer questions speaks volumes about Te'os " innocence " in all this.

Bears hired Mel Tucker as defensive coordinator. The Chicago Tribune reported Friday evening that the Bears would interview Raheem Morris for the position on Saturday, but that meeting apparently won't happen. Tucker will have a big role with the Bears, as defensive boss under offensive-minded head coach Marc Trestman. He'll also oversee the strength of the Bears' roster. Tucker runs a 4-3, Cover-2 style defense, easing the transition from Lovie Smith.
