  1. Great job BMac, too bad a win wasn't with you.
  2. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ May 22, 2005 -> 03:46 PM) Yeah, it's so sad...they celebrate after that? I dont see anything to celebrate, except moving a game up on Stl. Sox won the series, Prior went 130 pitches (Dusty is a pitcher killer), Cubs bullpen still sucks. The only reason I care about losing today is that we passed up an opurtunity to move another game up on the Twins. BUt it could be worse, the Twins could have won. BMac...Major props to you, go out and dominate Texas on Friday. lol please don't jinx the Brewers, they have it goin their way right now, but we all know how the Twins can score timely runs.
  3. We faced their best 3 pitchers in my opinion, and they didn't face our best pitcher, and our best pitcher record wise. This is a good series win. Sure we all wanted the White Sox to sweep them, but we'll get another chance next month.
  4. Oh how important it was for Uribe to get the job done in the 7th.
  5. QUOTE(ChiSoxFan @ May 22, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) Hunter struck out on a 96 MPH heater. 4-2 Brew Crew headed to the 9th. Great job Brewers, my favorite National League team. They used to be in the American League and now they have Carlos Lee.
  6. QUOTE(ChiSoxFan @ May 22, 2005 -> 03:33 PM) Morneau struck out, but the ball got away from the catcher, so a run still scored. 4-2 Milwaukee with 2 outs in the 8th, RISP. Get one more out Brewers!!
  7. QUOTE(ChiSoxFan @ May 22, 2005 -> 03:31 PM) In other news, bases loaded in the bottom of the 8th in Minny, Derrick Turnbow pitching for the Brew Crew, Morneau at the plate and 1 out. Cmon Brewers, if we lose to the Cubs we want you guys to beat the Twins.
  8. Dusty obviously wants Prior to get the complete game. Let's go Sox, get some runners on.
  9. It always seems like we give a game away to the Cubs. I don't know if you would call giving this away, but there shouldn't have been that homer.
  10. It also depends on how good your team is obviously. Maddux is a great pitcher, but he was on a team that won their division every year. That helps a great deal too.
  11. I guess Hermanson has a record of 19 2/3 scoreless innings in a row to start the season. Good job to him.
  12. The ball was thrown back again, if I was Dye I'd want that ball just for memories.
