I don't see why there should even be a comparison between the two. One is a full time DH or a pinch hitter, the other can play a position at a league average rate defensively. We need to stop kidding ourselves and thinking Palka can be given a glove and not be a drag on this team. I love the guy, I love his energy, I love his power potential. But he has no role here, unless we're moving Abreu.

Yeah, it is a tad odd to have guys that haven't been up yet on the list, definitely agree. They had Vlad Jr on their 3rd base list. I still enjoy when they talk about our boys though so I'll take it. And I dunno what fricken program they've created to make these lists but "the shredder" that's the impartial stats based system kinda has shit for brains. It's a fun watch mostly for the guys that have legit insight but the list that dominates the show is just bad.

I dunno if anyone has been watching these but the Brian Kenny and two of the saber nerds had Eloy on their top 10 lists for RF. Brian Kenny had him at 6, which is shocking. Nice to see them recognizing his talent.

Agreed, he'd be a perfect fit for them. But I guess if Hill is coming over or they're trying to dump something else, it would fill in that gap.

Add Abreu and Yonder to those 3, that's a really quite solid 2 thru 6 in the lineup. This would at least be very watchable.

One thing that is a little scary is this guy in center, Eloy in left, Palka in right. That might he the slowest outfield ever.
