Im sorry if us sox fans are ruining the board but can u honestly say these last two nights have been good for the sox.....I didnt think it was a absurd to talk about your worries with the team....I know its early but this is too reminiscant of past years. and once they start playing well and with fire i will be the first guy to give them praise on this board

Not necessarily molto..but when i see timo perez half assing it to a ball in right and allowing the man to get to third, thats bs...And when our catcher is knocked out of the game on a cheap shot and dont retaliate when they had a chance to....Thats no fight to me

Well first off cuz I am a fan. And a fan with a pair of eyes. And what i see out on that field is very depressing and im sorry u arent watching teh same team as me.I think that is the distinction of a sox fan and a cubs. A cubs fan has no knowledge of the game but all the optimisim in the world. However, i thought sox fans had knowledge and called it how they saw it. If u wanna sugar coat eeverything on this site then go ahead...But im gonna tell u how it is and right now it is s***.

Well I hate to be a pessimist, however Now that the twins have benson, stewart and when mauer comes back and we are still without thomas,maggs and a reliable pitcher....its not looking good for us

You guys actually think FRank Cattalanotto is gonna help this team make it to the playoffs? You gotta be kidding me. You are gonna need a way more superior bat to even make a difference. This team is gonna need way more than that...maybe a starting pitcher or someone who will hold runners and throw them out. And I also think jurassic Everett was not the answer either. I still Think we could have gotten something a more productive bat with Rauch's value

First of all, I understand the replies. Howver, if we cant get beltran, finley is the next best answer. And I never said to move rowand. I said to move him to right so finley could play center if he wants to (so that takes care of his no trade clause). Secondly,I think we have waited a pretty long time for a world series championship, and to not go all out to win is ridiculous. Also, if we dont go out and get a quality bat, the acqusition of Freddy Garcia is a lost cause. Borchard has had his opportunity and has failed and i feel reluctant to give up cotts but u need to give up something to win. If you want to "wait til next year" to win or the year after that then i think u are cheering for the wrong side of town And by the way, finley is hitting .281 23hrs 48rbi.....Not bad for a 39 year old

I think the sox should be in contention for steve finley... He could play right field for us or move rowand to right..whatever works...We could give up borchard and cotts and maybe some other farm hand.
