That was a better inning from Loaiza. At least we are still hanging tough. I think we can crush this guy May too.

We need to see some offense from that there Uribe and that there other guy Rowand. It will also be great when the Hurt hits his first homer. Maybe we will start really pounding some offense.

Hopefully that inning wasn't a sign that suddenly May has found his control. Could be a long day in River City.

The long ball game is something we should be playing instead of KC. We have 6 hits and 2 walks off this guy May in 3 innings and we trail 4-3. Something is cheesy in Denmark.

Surprosed PK missed a pitch up. He is supposed to be one of the best high fast ball hitters. Then he gets one inside and low and K's. Not good.

I see Loaiza gave up another homer this time to Berroa. We seem awfully prone to the long ball problem. Luckily it's bases empty.

What I like is the fact Rowand got that bunt down to advance the runners. We failed that in NY and it cost us a run scoring chance. I guess if Olivo was being aggressive fine, but hopefully they know the difference and the situation?

Maybe he was just trying to put names out there of potential starters to take Danny's place? It's easy to get excited. I like sdkins too, but I think maybe long relief is his suit. That is where I am leaning towards Wright going also. But, I am sure he will get another start or two. After all he had the one bad inning walking two and giving up a 3-run jack to some hyped up Yankee has been nobody. Erase that and it's a Sox winner. We were in hat game and when we had 2 runners on ourselves with what (1 out or no outs) and couldn't get a bunt down to advance that was a bad thing for us. Took us out of scoring chances. But, if Danny continues this way I want Cotts in there.

We did hang in there, but I am on the way to the hospital to take my foot out of my rear end and other places. Got to admit though we did battle. We had good outings from Marte, who really needed it, and Cotts who may be sowing why he should start. Starting the season 3-3 is OK. .500 ball on the road is acceptable, if we clean up at Comiskeyless Cell.

I think Danny Wright is showing us the reason he should be the long relief pitcher and Cotts the 4th or 5th starter. Anymore games like today and I think it will happen. The Sox need to keep Wright anad Schoeneweis on a tight leash. At least Shoe rebounded from his poor first couple innings. Danny was good for 3 and kaput!

It's amazing how the pitchers take out Giambi, Jeter and A-Rod and then give up three-run homers to the unknowns. The pitching staff seems prone to giving up too many dingers.

Watching the pitch location on game day it appears that Danny is wild. He can't continue walking people or as mentioned going to 3-0 on these hitters. He will give the yanks the chance to really smash one with runners on and then we will be is trouble. Good to see the Hurt got his first RBI though. Maybe when they open in Chicago he will be busting that ball out of here.
