You put in writing that which many of us were thinking. You are so right about that one player who torments us during a series and what ius worse, we keep pitching to him.

Said it before, but it bears repeating. Coming out of ST in Az many of us were wondering just what in the heck the Sox were thinking making Shoe a starter. I thought Wright was going to make it as the 5th starter and now Shoe has three quality starts and Danny Boy has yet to get through 5 innings. I will be watching WGN on Saturday as the Sox host TB and I see Wright is pitching. Well I hope he finally puts it together or I am thinking Cotts or someone else needs to be given the chance. Even if we lose, kick me in the butt for saying that, but I hope we get a quality start if not a win from Danny.

I will be watching on WGN tonight. I finally got into the PTC site and am going with Gload tonight. I am assuming the Hurt will be only available to pinch hit?

I think that Adkins has found his spot in long relief. My guess is that Cotts goes to the minors to stretch out and come back to start if Danny Wright continues to struggle. I think it's possible a trade might happen? Does Danny Wright deserve to stay anymore than Koch does? Koch has a bad outing, but comes back to pitch well. Just inconsistent, but he could be traded who knows. $6M is a lot of money to pay someone who can't perform in the role they were supposed to fill.

What's wrong with wanting the Sox to sign Magglio Ordonez?

I only get to watch Buerhle pitch when a game is on the telly and not Chitown cable either mind you. The games I have seen Mark pitch in he looks good. When he misses it doesn't appear by much and I truly believe he gets squeezed. Rivera gets strikes called on the same pitches Mark gets called a ball. Now that can mean he is getting squeezed by the umps or that he is missing by an inch more or less. I think control pitchers like Mark tend to get messed with by the umps. It sucks that Buerhle gave up 8 runs, but I don't think it's the end of the world. I seem to remember that that there Pedro Martinez, who get a lot of calls his way too, got bombed recently. Maybe it's the dead arm after Spring Training, and then again it might be just a bunch of seeing eye hits and a lack of sharpness from Mark in a game. I am always more worried about someone being hurt when that happens, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I am betting that Mark Buerhle's next start will be just fine. I know one thing I really enjoy watching Mark Buerhle, Esteban Loaiza and Jon Garland pitch when they are on their game. They are beautiful. And I don't mean that in that kind of way.

Cotts wild. Takatsu apparently still can't find the groove and Jackson gives up 4 hits and his first 2 runs of the season. Can't win games when the bullpen gives up runs even when the hitters keep battling. End of game story and you can take that to the presses. Hope for a better luck in the game tomorrow.
