No he is not. Scott Rolen is IMO the most overrated player defensively that i have heard of in quite some time. Back in Ventura's hay day, he was much better defensively.

I didnt watch sox games??? I went to 40 games at comiskey and saw about 110 on television. I saw almost all of the whitesox games and am very critical(unlike the terrible announcer-HAWK) He had no errors because he didnt muff any balls or made any bad throws. Althoguh, there were a countless # of plays that he didnt get a good read and the ball dropped in front of him or it went over him. Has he made progress since his first year in leftfield? Oh yeah, he has made a lot of progress and has shown an amazing amount of improvement although he still is a liability in left field.

I think by complete, they mean better reads defensively and a better arm, and a better leader. Defensively, he isnt good, his 0 error total is very misleading. He had so many plays that an average leftfielder would get, bounce right in front of him or go over him because of bad reads- these arent listed as errors though.

I am not saying adkins is a descent #4/5 starter. I am saying, some mlb teams percieve him to have the potential to be that. I believe that if he is put into games where the teams i losing or winning by a lot, his era will be very low. He had a great era for the sox until they kept moving him up to setup where he kept bombing.

To be honest, i thought lee and adkins is too much. They get 9 million cap space while getting a 30-40 hr hitter 300 avg 375 obp guy as well as a possible descent #4/5 starter especially in the nl.

It doesnt matter what order u do it, as long as u do it. I do agree that we dont need a closer we just need a solid bullpen guy. Also, some1 said marte isnt a good closer. Yes, i agree, i remember he blew like 9 saves in the first half of the season 2 yrs ago. But if u put him in good situations for him, when he has more than a 1 run lead, he is a good option.

I hate those bulls commercials. 2 years ago, they were all about, do u want to see tmac,kobe,shaq???THen cum to the united center, bla bla bla. They dont say s*** about the bulls.
