For some reason I always get excited before a sox game when they play those songs at comiskey. The Breakout song showing manuel crossing his arms like X(I always got the chills) Now, it's that song but i consider it as SOX FAN, owaowaowa SOX FAN, owaowaowa SOX FAN etc. This gets me so pumped up before the games almost giving me chills, any1 else feel like this or i am i just a stupid stupid man.

No, they are alot different than the cubs, the bosox have had many many good teams and have had many chances to win a world series since 1918. The cubs however have had very very few competitive teams.

Ya, so many people in whitesox nation forget how big of an ass this guy was. WE were forced to bench him because he lost his confidence! HE lost his f***ing confidence! How the hell does a guy who we needed to get to the playoffs lose his f***ing confidence! He was probably the most inconsistant player on our team as well. And honestly, who would think that a guy with 2 pitches and only a 90 mph fastball would succeed for many years. I really do hope foulke gets bombed BADLY!!!! But he will then of course blame it on his stress from pitching so many pitches in the alcs. Now, was it good to trade him and valentine for koch and cotts, i didnt have a problem with it. I mean i thought koch was very overrated but to do what he did the past 2 years with us i would never believe.

He hurt his arm because someone within the orginization recommended him to increase speed on his fastball. By doing that, he messed up his delivery then messing up his arm.

Although I somewhat agree with you that he wouldnt be of need for our ballclub, people need to respect and remember for all the great moments he gave us. The hr in the bottom of the 9th against the cubs to win it, the hr against the marlins to win it, and the indians, etc. He had many more graet moments including his 2000 season when he came out of nowhere to hit 270+ w/ 25+ hr. I mean there are few ss that can do that. His great team attitude, always up on the fence cheering, never complained etc. I will miss him a lot :headshake

Wow, rogowski has really impressed me statwise in the minors and thusfar in afl. I mean this looks like a twins prospect, 91 walks in minors, high slg and good power. This guy has placed himself in a situation where if he starts the season off well in aa and we r struggling at 1b or dh, we could clear room for him. Hopefully this guy isnt just another wsox minor league player, but i have really hi hopes for him. Matt Smith has impressed me a lot statwise as well. Ive never seen him before and dont know if he has mlb stuff or not but he definetely is improving his value.

I would spend 2k for the top seats and I would get them for every home game. If the team we play is in the midwest, in the southwest or southeast, id try to buy the best seats there for 2k too........ A little off topic but i just got a vision of a cubs sox brawl. A hardcore world series btwn us would be amazing. Sox lead series 3-0. The first pitch of game 4, and Patterson has just been beaned by Buehrle in the head. Patterson stares at him for a second. Buehrle drops his glove and starts pointing at him and how he will kick his ass. Patterson begins to run at Buehrle with his bat. Out of nowhere comes Guillen, he slides and trips Patterson. Both benches clear. Dusty and ozzie go at it. Dusty gets a toothpick jammed up his throat. Buehrle and Wood fight, both injuring their pitching hands. Shingo gives low blows to Hawkins. Konerko throws down 3 guys at once with veins popping out ofh his neck. Meanwhile, Carlos Beltran(whitesox) and Sosa bet on who will win the brawl. Wait, the fans come out on the field. The stands are seperated, right side- cub fans, left side, sox fans. Sox fans completely dominate the cub fans leaving nobody behind. In the end, this is known as one of the most retarted brawls in the history of baseball. The End (WOW I AM BORED AS s***!)

Not even King Steinbrenner is that much of an idiot. Sosa throughout the mlb world is known as a steroroid monster who plays as an individual and whose skills have deteriorated greatly since laying off of stereoroids once they started testing seriously. I also believe sosa has 6 million more on his salary than brown. And imo, Brown is a considerably better player than Slammin Sammy Soso.

I am not counting out the sox in the beltran race at all. They will be clearing 14 million from mags who i highly doubt they will resign and tehy will possibly trade konerko or lee freeing up a total of around 22 million. Supposedly, Reinsdorf is raising the payroll as well. This along with our latin dominated team and the great ozzie effect could lead to us getting one of the best players in the game.

Honel was in a way similar to magglio. Consistant #'s year in year out with subtle improvements each year. That was the road honel was on, headed for aa, aaa 2nd half of season, and he would be a starter for us in 05. That hasnt worked out so well. I believe his failure should be attributed to the person(probably KW) who wanted him to beef up his fastball a bit. Although he has reportedly become the old honel, i really wont believe it until i either see it or see #'s.
