Looks like between Chris Stewart and Bobby Jenks (walk, hit by pitch, wild pitches, and a flubbed easy out on a suicide squeeze dropped by the catcher) pretty much cost the Barons the one run lead in the top of ninth, probably the game. Its now 4-3 West Tenn. UGH C

I get a chance to attend about 20 Barons games a year, but live out of town. Every chance I get to listen online to the games I do, but I HATE the fact that in order to listen online I have to catch the opposing teams broadcast. Sometimes it sucks listening to the biased opinions that of course you will get from the other teams broadcaster. I would love to hear about OUR prospects, the little side stories from OUR clubhouse, and what happens on a day to day basis with OUR Barons. It especially stinks when the opinions are harsh against our team or players. I know there are lots of fans of the White Sox minors and love to watch/listen to how potential major leaguers grow through the system. Especially since the Barons have so many great prospects it bugs me people who can't attend the games or listen the the local broadcast are stuck catching the opponent's broadcast and their viewpoints via the internet. The Barons are the ONLY one of the 10 teams in the entire Southern League that don't broadcast via the net. They also are the ONLY team in the White Sox minor league system (other than rookie ball) that doesn't offer the option. I am not sure if anyone (BHAMBARONS) can provide any insight or suggestions on how to get the Barons to invest in a internet feed. Thanks for any help C

West Tenn @ Birmingham (13-11) 7 Bad news for Bullard.... he started the game tonight, but was pulled in the first inning with an undisclosed injury(listening to visiting teams radio) with no runs. Perhaps he reaggreviated the back muscle, so Ryan Meaux is now on the mound.

I totally agree with you about the OF... I think he has always played 1B in the minors if I am not mistaken. It seems he will move up to AA Birmingham next year and they need a productive first baseman both offensively and defensively. It is good to see him playing well in Arizona. C
