The Barons players ended up helping pull the tarp because only half the infield was covered and the Montgomery GM said they couldn't get it done (too heavy?) with the people they had. Wierd indeed or convenient.

It looks like the White Sox received veteran switch hitting infielder Geoff Blum from San Diego for Birmingham reliever Ryan Meaux. Good Luck to Ryan, he did a great job for the Barons. And hopefully Blum will help the Sox.

I saw he was good enough to bat (and get a clutch hit!!!), but how far away is he from being able to play the infield? Thanks
