Sometimes I kind of like that. Remember in "Angels in the Outfield" when the Angels were playing the ChiSox for the pennant? The Sox seemed like villains at that part, especially with "The league RBI leader, Kit 'Hit or Die' Keesey" a big snuff chewing som' b**** with a huge scar acroosed his face, making the final out.
I almost want to watch that movie now.
I would definitely not take Nevin over Glaus. As for Eric Chavez, I think I would take him, because he, like Rolen, is great with the leather. But most of all, he swings it from the left side.
When you say that Glaus is the most talented third basemen, does that mean that you'd rather have him than Rolen or Pujols (wow, those guys are on the same team)? I would definitely rather have Pujols, and I'm pretty sure I'd rather have Rolen, because he is an excellent fielder.
Excuse me, sir, but watch last year's World Series movie, and try and tell us that Mr. Glaus did not deserve the MVP. I don't think you'd be able to do it.
I don't really like the idea of Rowand hitting 2nd. I just don't see it working. The only reason why it makes any sense to me is that you would have a lefthander at the bottom of the order.
The thing with the lineup is that if there is a lefthanded starter, there is not a SINGLE lefthanded bat in the order. If you're a believer in the righty lefty matchups, that's good right?
I also believe that White should be the shortman and have Gordon has the middle man.
I totally agree with you on Frank Thomas. First ballot HOF, and he will have a great season this year. I also am a huge Big Hurt fan (hence my username).
That's cute. Except that someone had done it. Twice, actually. But good effort nonetheless.
Now, if you all will excuse me, I must watch my Blazers destroy the Spurs.
Back at halftime.
When I first read the Colon deal's headline " White Sox land Colon", I was too excited and my vision blurred. I couldn't read it thoroughly, so for half an hour I thought we ended up with El Duque as well. I was ecstaic for that half hour.
