  1. No, it starts at 1am Central and ends at 5am. I leave my house at 4:45am to walk to the bus. TRUST ME, I know this information to be true!!! The bus gets me to the train, the train gets me downtown at 6am. and YES, my schedule sucks... Oh, well they've recently changed the show, it does it's stuff an hour early. I like the show because he always has alot of fun guests. And I do feel very sorry for your schedule.
  2. Yeah, they should give Miles some more time after that oppo field drive in the Twink Dome. I think that hit the very top of the fence. If it had gone out, we would have had a good shot at winning.... Oh well. Has Burke even played since being recalled?
  3. I could be wrong, but how do we know that the murdered wasn't about to murder the other guy? He was in the altercation, and we do not know if he was entirely innocent. It is still very tragic, but we do not know the whole story.
  4. I don't think he will get number 20. Damn, that would suck.
  5. I want the Sox to win, because I am STILL a fan of this team. Also, even though the Sox aren't in it, I'm still very much looking forward to the playoffs. That's always my treat for staying with the season for so long. I know alot of you don't like to watch the playoofs to intently when the Sox aren't in it, but I'm a baseball fan first, and a huge f***ing Sox fan second.
  6. That's the only reaction I have.
  7. I really, really, doubt that he won't be back next year. He wouldn't if you were the GM, Bmr, but as we all know, you are not. I'm as sure as Frank's batting average is bad that he'll be back.
  8. I agree. It was wrong what he said, but I believe that this guy really wanted to win this year. I just hope he comes back with more fire and passion next year.
  9. As great as it would be if you're right, no way. They would have to go 4-5 the rest of the way. If they do that, we still need to win 8 the rest of the way to win by half a game. f***, even if we had won one game in Minnsota....
  10. While walking to the busstop? It starts at midnight central time, and ends at 4am.
  11. You don't know that. Who are you to go passing out punishment and judgment? (I don't even think Konerko made it on base Wednesday, so that rules him out)
  12. That's true. It went from Mientkiewicz to Hocking, but I don't think that they'd really lie about it.
  13. No way in hell did Frank say, "go get this damn thing". I can tell that he wants this bad. He is not performing well at all (aside from tonight against KC) this month. But by watching his dugout mannerisms, I think he wants this.
  14. On the Todd Wright all-night show last night (Thursday) he had Denny Hocking and A.J. as guests. Hocking said that during Wednesday night's game, a "player at first base when the White Sox were on offense who shall not be named" told Mientkiewicz to "Go get this damn thing". Allegedly, Doug said "You've got to be joking, right?", and then the Sox player said no, because alot of his teammates have no heart. Upsetting, but almost not surprising.
  15. Ha. Difilice threw the ball 20 feet in his attempt to get Jose stealing second.
  16. Ray Knight? Let's do one better and get Bobby Knight. I don't care if he's a basketball coach. Bobby Knight is who I was thinking of, who's Ray? I know that name. For some reason I do think he was a former MLB manager, but I'm not sure.
  17. You're right about that. He doesn't look like a guy who's been released 3 times this year.
  18. It's funny, but a month ago, this series looked like it would be HUGE. But now it means nothing. I so wish we would have won a couple in Minnesota.
  19. Jamey Wright is a P.O.S. This is his 4th organization this season. On the replay, that was a horses*** call by the first base umpire. This is the same guy that tossed Garland in an earlier Minnesota series before a warning was issued. Asshole.
  20. Our guys are bad.... But Jamey Wright is too.
  21. Hey, they just showed The Rock throw out the ball. That's pretty cool. I wish the fan interest was still there. That's what happens. f***.
  22. I totally agree. First off, I just want the Yankees to kick the hell out of the Twins, who haven't beaten the Yankees since 2001. After that, I think I'll go with the other Sox team.
  23. And sorry, no there hasnt been greater upsets. iF the twins dont win the central it will go down as the biggest choke job in sports history. In 1995, the Angels had a 14 game lead in the West in mid Audust. That was bad.
