  1. Gordon's average is quickly dropping. Chance to do a lot of dmg today and comes up empty.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 01:44 PM) One of the best relievers in all of baseball this season Haha. Him and about 40 others
  3. Do we have any sacrifice flys this season? Seems like we either get a hit, strike out or hit a popup.
  4. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 11:44 AM) Even though I'm a huge Sox fan, I'm gonna have a hard time watching this game because I'm a big fan of Jackson and I'm a HUGE fan of Price. ...I got them both in my fantasy baseball team in a 20-team dynasty league. So I'm hoping for a pitcher's duel until the Sox clobbers Tampa's bullpen. : People who do not want their fantasy player or a guy they liked to get pounded when playing against their own team disgust me. I hope your post was sarcasm.
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 11:35 AM) Grey may hurt the club more than help. If he is pitching in a situation where it is close, then you are right. Hopefully that would only be the case int he 17th inning.
  6. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 10:28 AM) And where are they in pitching? Again, I haven't "given up" based on anything, let alone a single roster move. My faith is just slowly going downhill. Besides, if it's too early to start losing faith in the team, why is it acceptable to dump Milledge after 2 games? Because they need to bring up a pitcher? And if he wouldn't have gone this week, it would've been next week when JP comes up.
  7. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:43 AM) There could be another story behind this, but who knows. All I know is that it's another blow to my already waning faith in the 2011 team. Man I hope that the team doesn't see that you are losing faith in them. They could become sad.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:31 AM) So can we expect anything out of Jeff Gray? Better or worse than Senor Pena? No he's awful. The only way he is in the game is if we are losing by a ton or up by a ton or out of pitchers.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:26 AM) And get picked off of 2nd in a huge moment of a baseball game. Yeah Lilly is an idiot. His only redeeming quality on the basepaths is that he is fast. I hope he doesn't cost us too many more outs.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:24 AM) As well as someone that can score on a double in the gap Yeah, I don't think Milledge scores on that 9th inning double yesterday.
  11. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:18 AM) I would think there is probably more to the story. He was pretty brutal in the field, but he's a better hitter than Lillibridge. We have enough hitters. My guess is they want the best defender and they think that is Lillibridge.
  12. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:08 AM) You have to be freaking kidding me... after ONE mistake in the field? Try 3. In like 6 or 7 chances.
  13. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 09:54 AM) I knew having both of them on the team and 6 RP was only a matter of time, just didn't think Milledge would be the one going. If he can't play the outfield, then he is pretty useless. Of course, it's only two games, but man those were an ugly two games. Gray will likely be sent back down when JP is up next week.
  14. SoSH kids must be slitting their wrists.
  15. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 6, 2011 -> 05:17 PM) Can't overlook the Sox were down 2 runs with 2 out and nobody on in the 9th against Soria. That alone makes this a great win. 3 runs. Yes, it's crazy.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 6, 2011 -> 04:44 PM) If we win this game, I'm gonna buy me a hooker tonight. Just kidding. Don't know where that came from. I'm happy! Let's get 3 outs before you get too happy.
  17. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 6, 2011 -> 04:44 PM) gordon's playing a nice LF - I thought he got him Too big of a hop.
