It really pissed me off that he didnt steal more last year. I remember Willie talked to hawk after a game last year and said he was scared to steal. I dont know why he would be but i could tell with those puny ass leadoffs he took. I would still like him on the roster just not everyday. We some good things from him last year too.
s***, he is a great fielding 2nd baseman. Well he seems to of improved alot over the last 3 years. This would be very risky. It is hard to tell if someone from the japanese leagues will be good in the MLB.
That is not going to happen. Even KW is not that stupid. KW basically said Konerko is staying put unless the sox get RJ for him. He knows they need someone who will drive in alot of runs.
How do you explain Bonds hat size increasing nearly 2 sizes? Its ridiculous for you to think that a man's head will grow after he has already turned 30.
I will make the list for you because i am very bored;
Bronson Arroyo
Aj Burnett
Josh Beckett
Barry Zito
Jake Peavy
Chris Carpenter
Jason Marquis
Jeff Suppan
Kenny Rogers
This is just to name a few. There are probably more.
*This is going by salaries from last season.
He works very hard, he has a WS ring, he can field, he can steal, he hits .270 constantly, and he would be a good #2 hitter for us. He was the best middle infielder on the market. Those are the reasons we wanted him so bad.
i was hoping someone would make me a sig with Dye, El duque, and Podsednik. I want it to say "New in '05" Put Chisoxmatt and the sox logo in there somewhere. Do something cool with the backround.
Thanks Alot,
Matt

I just want to wish all you fellas a keen christmas. Or what ever super-duper holiday you celebrate.
- Opie Taylor... I mean MATT
We might as well just stay with Harris or go after Cairo. Cairo has a career .273 AVG, but has a low OBP of .327. Cairo is still more consistent than Cora who has a .246 carrer BA. I dont see any reason to go after Cora when we can get Cairo.
Yeah most people forget Santana's performance in '03. He was 12-3 with a 3.07 ERA. He started 18 games. Over the past two years he has a record of 32-9. That is sick.
I cant find his career stats vs. lefties. You can get his stats vs. lefties over the last three years at ESPN.com
Eckstein last three years: .281 AVG .355 OBP
Harris last three years: .181 AVG .224 OBP
