    Yes im Mozambique!
  3. I'm not worried about him. He's washed up. I sure as hell wouldnt have wanted him.
  4. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 07:47 PM) His 852 vs Radke is most impressive. That's over 68+ AB's. He owns him. We need a guy with kind of success. We need guys that keep these 6 from dominating against us year after year. All 6 of those pitchers own winning records vs the CWS from 02-04. Ray can help change that. Why didnt you just start a thread with all these stats? They're everywhere.
  5. If "the big O" has a big game tonight it would really help alot.
  6. QUOTE(thomsonmi @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) Well, I was more excited about the 1984 team. We were coming off winning the division by 20 games and we had added Tom Seaver to the rotation. Things didn't go so well... To bad I wasnt born yet
  7. QUOTE(C_LEE45 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 05:01 PM) Astros and rangers are talking about a trade that would send Soriano for Badke and Burke,a Great deal for Houston so my question is why wouldnt kenny be looking to trade for Soriano ?And if the reason is the money, then i would trade for soriano and then trade konerko. Pods Rowand Soriano Thomas Dye A.J Uribe Crede Gload I dont see how this would help us. We get rid of our best RBI man in Konerko to sign a guy who is terrible in the field and strikes out 120 times a season. Also soriano's stats went down when he went from Yankee stadium to a notorious hitters park in Texas, so it is likely his stats wouldnt go up very much at USCF. Also I dont know why so many people think Gload is ready for the starting 1B job. You cant go by what he did for half a season last year.
  8. I know, but if we actually make it to the playoffs and our hitting sub par we would have some pitching to carry us.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 03:45 PM) what ever happened to sean lowe? He was with Kansas City in 2003 and i think he hurt his arm. Now hes a free agent and nobody has signed him. Im not 100% sure about the arm thing though.

    Ignore Feature

Ive got 3 people on my ignore list.
  11. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 10, 2005 -> 03:51 PM) Win the division and get steam rolled in the playoffs. We know the drill and are damn good at it. Tag team for the Central for a while now. If we even get to the playoffs we will actually have some real pitching unlike in 2000...
  12. We definitely have what it takes to win the Central. It just depends if we choke down the stretch as usual. This could be our year. I havent been this excited about a sox team since... ever.
  13. Dont know what i was thinking when i made this.
  14. QUOTE(frahungski @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) just saw on ESPNEWS that they wouldn't take the astro's deal because there was a limited no trade clause. the mets gave him a full no trade clause in his contract. so there's our answer. Now im sure the mets will regret this when they are trying to get rid of Beltran's massive contract in 2 or 3 years. That Scott Boras is a monster!
  15. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 08:52 PM) How good is Meet the Fockers? I haven't seen it yet? Meet the Fockers Oooh, the last name of these characters sounds ever-so like a terribly naughty word! Re-live the experience of hearing that half-joke 430 times in Meet the Parents many more times in this sequel - now with more Streisand!
  16. QUOTE(Nokona @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) I believe that it is. Ball thrown. Ball caught. Ball Pocketed. No where past Ball Thrown did it ever leave his hands. Possession arrow to Doug. Yeah i agree. I still dont see how it belongs to Boston.
  17. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 07:35 PM) People need to realize that it is hard to stay out of them when you have someone getting on so much ( bonds). He was never one to ground into alot of double plays before last year with the giants. Damn good point. But Aj is still pretty slow. I still expect him to ground into alot of double plays... But not 27.
  18. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) All I know about "24" is this dude is now going on three days without sleeping, eating or pooping. He's some super dude or something. I wanna know why he doesnt just stop at Mcdonalds, take a piss, and order a big mac.
  19. Easyw, I like what you said about Aj grounding into alot of double plays. Between him and Konerko that is going to be alot of them. I see why you have alot of concerns, but you gotta admit, he is a big step up from Ben Davis.
  20. QUOTE(GASHWOUND @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 06:28 PM) Lets just hope everyone of these players is willing to work for chocolate coins cause that's all they're gonna get from Kenny and Dorf.. :headshake Yeah youre right about that. Since the poll had no option for "no one" i had to go with Cora for the reasons i gave earlier.
  21. I got that. I just think its stupid. It would be funny if each season was the next day.
  22. :sleep Dont like that show. Why does everything have to happen in 1 day?
