Yeah, Cat hits fairly well against us... Frank Catalanotto (career stats vs. Sox) 170 AB .282 AVG .326 OBP .453 SLG 4 HR 21 RBI It seems like he has killed us a lot more than that though.

WhiteSox.com has DJ's homerun calls for Dye and Uribe. Dye's homer: "UHHH-OHHH... GET UP... BYE-BYE!!!" Uribe's homer: "UHHH-OHHH... GET UP... offense... instant... one run for the Sox." After Dye's homer... Donn Pall: That would have been my click to pick, or pick to click, what do you call those there DJ?" DJ: "You can pick whatever you want." Is DJ turning into Hawk with all those witty comments?

As long as this doesn't turn into the "Jose Paniagua Experience Part 2", I don't have a problem with the move. -

Marte always dangles his arm before throwing a pitch. Or did you mean he was shaking his arm in a different way? -
Ozzie explained why he stuck with Marte and didn't bring Shingo in at all in the 9th...

But the spot DID matter. Apparently, they wanted another lefty in the bullpen. Considering the next two teams that the Sox are facing have a lot of lefty hitters it, makes some sense. -

Walker is probably going to face one lefty batter a game at the most. Why is everyone freaking out about this? -

That's exactly what I think... And I just looked at the Orioles' lineup. Rafael Palmeiro, Brian Roberts, Larry Bigbie, Jay Gibbons, and B.J. Surhoff all bat lefty. -

I think most of you guys are forgetting that Kevin Walker is going to be our LOOGy. He is going to be called upon to get one lefty batter out. I doubt he will be used for much more than that. Bajenaru cannot be a LOOGy because he is a righty. By the way, take a look at the Devil Rays' lineup. Their whole outfield is composed of lefty bats -- Aubrey Huff, Carl Crawford, and Alex Sanchez. Maybe that has something to do with this move. -

When would Bajenaru ever have a chance to pitch in a bullpen with Hermanson, Politte, Shingo, and Vizcaino? He would pitch even less than Cotts. -

That's nice but I never said Walker was a stud. My point was that Cotts is not a lefty specialist. By the way, does anyone think that the Blue Jays may claim Jamie Burke off of waivers now due to Gregg Zaun's injury? Either that or they could re-sign Greg Myers out of retirement. -

Cotts is NOT a lefty specialist. Take a look at his career splits. Lefties hit .268 against him while righties hit .232 against him. -

Bajenaru wasn't exactly stellar last season. We need another lefty in the bullpen, not a righty. I just hope Walker pitches like he did in the beginning of Spring Training and not how he did toward the end of ST and at Charlotte. -

Well, the good thing is that it shows Kenny and Reinsdorf are willing to spend money on this team. Walker gets $425,000 to come to the big league roster. http://rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/p...guenum=&id=6453 -

Per ESPN 1000: Gregg Zaun is going to be observed overnight at a hospital in Toronto. He has an undetermined head injury. Zaun was choking after the blow to the head by Pedro Lopez's knee so they gave him oxygen on the field. I hope he's okay.

You know your bullpen is crap when you sign Darren Oliver. http://rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/p...ort=MLB&id=5127
