GREAT JOB HERMIE! He should close it out considering he only threw 7 pitches.

Because a solo homer ties it.

Probably Ozzie's. The order is Koskie (lefty), Hillenbrand (righty), Wells (righty), so Ozzie didn't want to throw Hermanson in against Koskie.

Wow, walking Pods on 4 straight pitches? He must be done. And he is.

I think "The Dye-hards" would be a good name.

.377 OBP and 16 SB in 24 games. This guy deserves a fan club. Some fans could go to the Cell wearing knee-high black socks and form Pods' Posse.

Who did we trade for Tony Graffanino?

Game Thread 5-8-2005 Sox vs Blueballs er Jays
I'm guessing (and hoping) that Ozzie throws the same lineup as yesterday out there today. I know Chacin is probably alot harder to hit than Lilly but yesterday's lineup seemed to do well against that lefty so may as well use them against another. But AJ will most likely be catching for Buehrle.

Frank feels better, may not need minor-league rehab
As important as it is for Frank to get 100% healthy, it's also important for Carl to shag a ton of balls in LF and get better at fielding the position. Ozzie has already started Pods in CF one game this season so he obviously trusts him there. This lineup could be sick once Frank gets back... CF Podsednik 2B Iguchi DH Frank LF Everett 1B Konerko RF Rowand / Dye C Pierzynski 3B Crede SS Uribe

- Off the "rocker" ....
Are you sure that isn't Kurt Angle with long hair? = ?- Diaz Activated from DL
If he comes back strong and pitches well like he did last season at Charlotte he will be trade-bait for whatever we need at the deadline.- Whitesox trivia
What player have we had twice but didn't even play for us the first time we acquired him? - Off the "rocker" ....
