You are missing the point of my post. I never said he would give up 10 runs every outing. My point is that just because a pitcher gets a win doesn't mean he pitched well. Wins and losses are the absolute worst stat to judge a pitcher by.
By the way, I'm happy about the Sox winning today but it was more because of the offense than Garland's crappy outing. Garland has sucked for most of Spring Training. Why would I be happy about that?
