  1. Chicago White Sox 2005 Preview" http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c.../AAN3815372.htm
  2. Also... Don't they mean Jon Garland? :headshake
  3. Send Joe Sheehan your comments here... http://www.baseballprospectus.com/contact....rospectus+Today :finger
  4. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=3869 He forgets that we also got Luis Vizcaino in the Lee trade. Also, apparently to Sheehan, Rowand just had a career year last season (I guess he hasn't looked at any Spring Training stats). Buehrle and Garcia are #3's? What a pile of crap. And here's the best part... Someone needs to get off the Twins' nuts. :headshake
  5. "It's March Madness, baby! (Cont.)" http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?id=2019149&num=2
  6. The Mets are looking for a backup catcher for Piazza now that they have traded Jason Phillips to the Dodgers. Ben Davis? http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...ort=MLB&id=5228

  8. Does anyone honestly think Willie has a chance at the starting job? I'm not so sure he will even win a roster spot with the way Ozuna is playing.
  9. Correction: "Wrigley is practically all CRUMBLING cement."
  10. Last night, I watched a Comcast SportsNet Chicago interview with Frank Thomas by Mitch Robinson. It was good to see Frank and he said he will listen to Herm as far as his progress goes. Frank even admitted his apprehension to run hard as the article above says. He realizes it wouldn't be a great idea to come back too soon and risk re-injury. He damn sure doesn't want to get injured again and lose more time. He also said he feels like he's 20 years old again and misses baseball alot. He mentioned that he would like to play until he's 42. Frank was very upbeat and couldn't wait to play with the rest of the guys. Frank said that he loves Kenny because he's a no-nonsense GM and will move a guy if he isn't giving 100% (no doubt, a Carlos Lee reference). He said that this makes all the guys try their hardest and give it their all. He is already live hitting and he said he launched a few out of the park at camp! Frank has the biggest smile in all of baseball and he looked extremely happy in the interview.
  11. But Uribe is also killing the ball and now Iguchi is hitting as well. It's still just ST though. Ozuna will be happy enough to win a roster spot and hopefully he will continue to kill the ball of the bench during the regular season.
  12. Doh, sorry. I sent you the email again because I thought you said you didn't receive my first one.
  13. Cool, I just sent you an email. Thanks again! Gene Lamont? Sweet. I didn't know he was in the Phillies' organization now... http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/NASAp...r_phi&fext=.jsp It would have been a White Sox vs. Expos World Series in 1994.
  14. I am just wondering if the show could run longer, possibly 2 hours? It just seems like 1 hour isn't enough time to talk about the Sox, especially with the interviews. I could talk about them for hours.
  15. Let me guess... NorthSideBaseball.com? :puke
  16. Here's the direct link to the show archives... http://www.probaseballcentral.com/audio_video.php
  17. I believe you will be able to listen to a recording of the live feed.
  18. Okay, Gene Wojciechowski is done selling his book so we should have some Sox or Flubs (unfortunately) talk soon.
  19. I just called up and won a book from answering the trivia question correctly... Question: "What Hall of Famer was a throw-in to the Larry Bowa for Ivan DeJesus trade?" Answer: "Ryne Sandberg." I chose a copy of "Cubs Nation" because I already have a copy of "Juiced." :puke I guess I will sell it to my Flubs fan friend.
  20. Yep, 309 feet down the RF line to be exact.
