  1. And Dye K's on the low breaking ball. Walker needs to train him not to love that pitch. But almost all of his homers have come on golf shots on low breaking balls.
  2. Why in the hell does Dye always take a perfect strike down the plate but swing at breaking balls in the dirt?
  3. It's a shame that the Choadmeister throws left-handed. Otherwise, I would agree with you.
  4. Great play by Iguchi... Horrible play by Pausly.
  5. But he still has a lot of trade value! :headshake
  6. I'm hoping Cruddy does what all of his supporters did -- DISAPPEAR!
  7. Deep sac fly by Uribe scores a run. I thought it was a grand slam.
  8. Pitiful, they are all trying to swing for the fences with the bases loaded.
  9. Take another pitch, Widger. Don't swing until he throws a strike.
  10. Exactly what I was thinking about Willie. Hell, throw in Borchard and a decent prospect (since I don't consider Borchard a decent prospect ).
  11. Yep, Mackowiak is from Oak Lawn, Illinois and he went to South Suburban Junior College. He also grew up a Sox fan. I would trade Willie Harris and prospect(s) for Mackowiak because he can play 2B, 3B, LF, CF, and RF. He could start at 3rd base in place of Cruddy, he could play some 2nd base to give Iguchi a day off, and he could play RF in place of Dye against righties. Mackowiak can hit and run. He would be the perfect utility man for us to add. I pray that Kenny is looking at him.
  12. I wanted us to trade for Mackowiak in the offseason and I still want him. My heart can't stand watching Cruddy anymore.

  14. Yes, Timo's "clutchness" with RISP was more beneficial to last year's team than Cotts' 5.65 ERA was. Just because Timo's "clutchness" of last year didn't carry over to this season doesn't mean that he wasn't more valuable to last year's team than Cotts was. I don't know how you could possibly deny that. Yes, I would give up Sean Tracey for Vinny Castilla. I don't know about you but I want the Sox to make the playoffs THIS season. I could give a crap about prospects right now. Cruddy isn't going to help this team go anywhere with his constant pop ups.
  15. Sorry. I forgot to change the rankings... MLB Minnesota Twins Team Stats: .267 team AVG (ranked 14th in MLB) .335 team OBP (ranked 11th in MLB) .402 team SLG (ranked 21st in MLB) And that's because they must not be hitting very well with RISP. Say what you want but better peripherals like the Twins have will eventually lead to more runs scoring than what the Sox peripherals currently look like.
  16. MLB Minnesota Twins Team Stats: .267 team AVG (ranked 25th in MLB) .335 team OBP (ranked 23rd in MLB) .402 team SLG (ranked 24th in MLB) Big difference.
  17. MLB Sortable Team Stats: .251 team AVG (ranked 25th in MLB) .317 team OBP (ranked 23rd in MLB) .398 team SLG (ranked 24th in MLB) By the way, these numbers have been low for the entire season. They didn't just get horrible because of the past week or so.
  18. Our offense right now is pathetic and it's a joke when people try to deny it.
