Do we really want to bring up a guy who's hitting .210 in the minors anyways? I'd bring up Greg Norton before Joe Borchard. Borchard is just another K machine like Dye but he would be even worse.

That would make sense. The Reds aren't going anywhere and appear to be in sell / salary-dumping mode. Send them Cruddy and a prospect or two for Randa and we can all be happy. I would even try to get Kent Mercker if he wasn't such a tool last season with the Flubs.

Why the Cubs? They have Todd Walker and Jerry Hairston to play 2nd base. Jimenez can play SS but the Cubs have Neifi Perez playing out of his mind right now. The Royals would never take on Jimenez's $2.87 million salary.
