  1. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) Florida up by 2 with 8 minutes left over LSU. I really wish that game was on tv. Now, if I was still at school then it would be.
  2. Justin Williams of Wyoming has 10 points, 11 boards and 11 blocks as Wyoming is trying to advance to the mwc finals tomorrow. They're up 6 with 1:37 left.
  3. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) Is there?? 15 after 5 and 10 after 7 I believe.
  4. IU is going to win this one and advance to take on OSU tomorrow.
  5. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 02:09 PM) Vols lose again. It's pretty clear that Pearl's helter skelter style has run this group of players out of gas. But as he gets his players in there (ie: people in better shape more suited to play the style) they are going to be damn good consistently IMO. They don't defend either. They can run teams out of the gym all they want but until they learn to play better defense they're not going to have a long run in the ncaa's.
  6. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 10:27 AM) God I hope you meant to put this is green. Jeckle. Ryan Sweeney.
  7. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 01:23 AM) Defense is important but people have to remember offense is more important. :banghead Green I hope?
  8. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 01:12 AM) Utah upsets their in state rivals BYU. BYU and Air Force both suffer upset losses today, and their bubbles have likely popped. San Diego State has a very good record and won the MWC in the regular season, but likely have to win the next 2 games to get a bid. BYU and Air Force losing make the Mountain West all but assured a 1 bid league. No doubt about that. SDSU is a pretty solid team, they have a clear road now, they should win this thing.
  9. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 12:48 AM) Oregon by 6 with 2:48 to go. The Ducks, who have rolled in mediocrity and below .500 all season and trailed by 14 with 10 mins to go, have put on an unreal rally to take the lead on the #2 seed and #12 ranked Huskies. Chamberlain Oguchi has 17 points, all scored within a 8 minute blitz in the 2nd half during the main ralley. I was watching the BYU-Utah game but turned this on because you hyped it up. It better be a good finish.
  10. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 10:35 PM) I didn't say lock, I said UConn and Nova are the safest bets to make it. I'm pretty confident that both of those teams will get by the 4-5 team, while I'm not so sure about the other teams. UConn played a horrendous game today, and Syracuse still needed a really deep 3 to send it to overtime. That's a major reason I don't think they'll lay an egg. Fair enough. I mean don't get me wrong I fully expect UConn to get there but at time they play like idiots so you just never know.
  11. Pitt's going to win this game and set up an interesting matchup with Villanova tomorrow who they did not meet in the regular season. I'm going to be boring and say it'll be a nova-gtown championship.
  12. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 10:08 PM) I'm rooting for Xavier That makes two of us. Anyways, some good news for bubble teams, Air Force lost their game today in the mwc tourny, so they're officially done.
  13. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 10:11 PM) The only two I would call even moderately safe bets are Nova and UConn. I might throw OSU in there if they put up a good showing in the tourney. I wouldn't call UConn a lock just because they seem to fall asleep in some games. I highly doubt that would happen in the tourny but you never know.
  14. The A10 tourny is officially a mess. The 1, 2, 3, and 4 seed have been eliminated. The semi's consist of 9.Temple vs. 5. St Joes and 10. Xavier vs. 6. Fordham.
  15. Charlotte the number 2 seed in the a10 tournament has been eliminated as well. That tourny is completely wide open at this point.
  16. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) If that is your feeling then you are not who this is directed toward. Directed at me obviously. Rex, no joke here I have absolutely 0 money. I'm a college kid who doesn't work and I just went to St. Louis over the weekend for the mvc tourny and spent basically all of my money. I also already have 15 bucks in tournament pools and krush already took 20 bucks from me . I'm also not going to be a person that rubs it in anyone's face if Zaga loses before the sweet 16. I'm going to want it to happen and be happy if it does because I'm going to have them gone in my pools but no one is going to hear about it from me.
  17. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:43 PM) Who do you guys like in Pitt/WVirginia tonight? I like Pitt, not pittsnogle, pitt. Anyways, Douby has 24 in the first half..he's good.
  18. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:59 PM) You will all laugh, but: Nova, Ohio St, Gonzaga, and SIU(I've never picked them before, but I think this is the MVC's year to get one in the F4...plus, I pray alot). Ohio State over Nova Gonzaga over SIU Ohio State over Gonzaga, barely Ha, I love SIU but final four ain't happening, though if there was any year they could do it I guess it'd be this year. SIU would beat Gonzaga by the way, Morrison would seriously be on the bench crying after getting beat up by the Salukis d.
  19. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) They are squarely on the bubble with that loss IMO. It's 50/50, they are going to end up on the "last 4 in/last 4 out" line. My guess is they don't get in since the Duke win is their ONLY RPI top 50 win. It'd be a shame if they get in instead of one of the valley teams.
  20. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:48 PM) Marquette is down seven with :50 seconds left. Really, really stupid play by Fitzgerald on the last possession. BTW -- is Marquette a lock for the tourney, even without this win? Will 20-10, 10-6 in conference, get them in? They're a lock, don't worry Mr. IC.
