  1. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:13 PM) OK, I'm gonna make a prediction. It's probably just wishful thinking, but Uribe is gonna go deep in the bottom of the 6th. I had you beat, I already made that prediction to wharris. He can vouch for that
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) Bet it crossed at the knees from the side angle dugout camera :banghead Does Contreras really look as composed and dominating as it seems he is??? I mean im amazed at the rate this game is flying by! When Jose can throw strikes he's almost unhittable.
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:09 PM) anyone who is watching the twins game too. Gardenhire just got tossed, and went apes*** What happened?
  4. Does Castillo look exactly like Lima or is that just me?
  5. Bad call there but when Greinke has been as around the plate as he has today, you're gonna get those call.
  6. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:01 PM) How's the Pope Donn P doin? He adds some interesting insight, unfortunately his voice is kind of dull and he's had some trouble getting all his words together. But honestly, not bad at all for a first time guy.
  7. Beautiful peg by Aj. Anytime aj's had a chance to throw someone out he's done it pretty well. Very underrated defensive catcher.
  8. How many batters in a row were retired until Berroa's hit?
  9. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) Like Crede swinging the bat is not a wasted out :rolly Vinny Castilla :puke
  10. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) I'm guessing he singled. Yes he did.
  11. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) Scotty in scoring position soon. God damn it, I'll shut the f*** up now.
  12. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) sabathia? Damnit... Yup, CC started, obviously didn't do very well.
  13. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:41 PM) Bronson Arroyo taking a no-hitter into the 7th in Detroit. He definitely won't get it now
  14. Juan hits a bullet to Teahan, turns into a double play as aj didn't freeze.
  15. Usually contreras would be at 300 pitches by now. He's having one of those days where he's completely in control it looks like. Hopefully that'll keep up and the o can manufacture something against Greinke.
  16. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:30 PM) Any sites that give pitch counts? Mlb.com's gameday does.
  17. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) The control issues aren't going to go away. With as much varience as Jose has in his arm angles and his motions, it is hard to lock into the right slot on each pitch. The key is to make the off speed stuff look hittable and get hitters to swing at it. Once again completely agreed.
  18. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:26 PM) His fastball really makes that forkball unhittable. And I really like that he is mixing in that sidearm curveball in some too. Lots of arm angles and actions for the hitters to worry about. Yup, I completely agree. He still has control issues but he can pitch this year and that's what he couldn't do last year. That's the difference between this year and last for him so far imo. Greinke has another easy inning.
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 12:22 PM) N-A-S-T-Y Even nastier considering Jose actually throws his fastball this year. Berroa grounds out, Jose is working quick so far.
