  1. Man, nice throw by aaron, just hit the bottom of the mound, damn it.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:58 PM) Ozzie isn't even using Cotts as a long man. That's cause we haven't needed one yet.
  3. Man, Neal gets a tough rap around here. He hasn't been great, far from it but he's the last guy out of our pen, the long reliever, and his era is under 4, it can be worse then that.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:56 PM) Not even close. Poorly played by Ozzie there. Good call Rowand44 Ha, I wouldn't say that. I said I wanted Freddy to finish off the inning but I thought Neal would get it done, woops. I just hate it when ozzie over manages.
  5. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:51 PM) Cotts in for garcia to face long. Bad idea. I wish he would have let Freddy finish the inning but Neal will get the job done.
  6. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:44 PM) I'm thinking more about Everett. He can't be benched. He's been our best middle-of-the-order guy this season, easy. He has to play somewhere, like you said he's been the best middle of the lineup guy we've had so far, not to mention he's our lefthanded pop against righties.
  7. QUOTE(JDsDirtySox @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:33 PM) FROM ROTOWORLD: Dodgers placed third baseman Jose Valentin on the 15-day disabled list with three torn ligaments in his right knee. He didn't tear the big one, but it looks like he'll be out until the All-Star break. The Dodgers currently have three options at third base in Norihiro Nakamura, Olmedo Saenz and Mike Edwards. Another one, Antonio Perez, figures to come off the DL in a couple of weeks. Expect Nakamura to get the majority of the time for now, mainly because he's the best defensive player in the group. It would be tempting to use Saenz since he's off to such a nice start, but he no longer has the mobility to be even a decent defender at the hot corner. May. 4 - 9:20 pm et Hopefully Jose can get healthy soon. On a side note Nakamura's batting stance is crazy.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:33 PM) 12,712 tonight at the park. Let the b****fest begin......
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:23 PM) If Jeff can keep this up, he could pass Adkins as the first RH relief arm to come up if an injury happens. I think he already should have.
  10. That's how you beat the royals leave Sweeney on deck.
  11. Wow, I think Crede just swung harder then I've ever seen him swing before.
  12. Good jump by aaron there. Cmon Jermaine, drive him in now.
