I believe shingo's now had 3 straight 1-2-3 saves. He's looked much better and has been pretty effective as of late closing games out. Obviously there was that game against Detroit where he let up a run in the 11th, however it seems like almost every closer in baseball has trouble coming into a situation where the game is tied and not a save situation, that's really not a great excuse but it is true of a bunch of closers.

Get well soon Hawk, you'll be missed for these games. I think Carm should fill in he was outstanding during spring training and deserves another opportunity imo.

Great to hear. Hopefully Jermaine can start hitting which maybe the few days off could have helped him a bit. As for Juan it's huge to have him back he's become one of the more valuable players on this team imo because of his glove, not to mention he's a pretty darn good hitter.

Viz has been very good, don't care what the numbers say. I bet you most of the runs he's let up have been in his 2nd inning of work. He's a 1 inning pitcher and that's all he should need to do with the depth of this pen.
