QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 23, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) If Toronto takes Tyrus, great news. If Toronto takes Aldridge, HORRIBLE news. Pretty much comes down to that, I don't want Stromile Swift part 2 (right down to the same school) on the Bulls, however I really like Aldridge. If they take Aldridge, Brandon Roy please.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 23, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) Contreras and Nelson are replacing Logan and Montero. It HAS to be an upgrade. For once, I agree with jabroni.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 23, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) Bulls get the 2nd overall pick. Portland falls to 4th and Toronto gets the 1st overall. Yup, I'm liking our chances to get Lamarc.

SportsNation Biggest Blunders from Neyer
QUOTE(fathom @ May 23, 2006 -> 05:19 PM) Dick Allen brought up the biggest blunder by far. Passing on Bonds in the draft. Forget about what's happened in the last 5 years with him. Before the steroids, he was still one of the greatest all-around players in baseball history. The baseball draft is such a crapshoot that, that doesn't count imo.

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 23, 2006 -> 12:33 AM) That's one of the White Sox' USCF "experience" packages. I suppose Honda likes it. He can go get himself a Koser dog an brew that inning. Speaking of Gene, does anyone know why he just disappeared during Friday's game from about the 5th inning on? That was pretty odd.

So, I've been Joe Crede'd. When I was out looking for jobs today, one of the places I went to said I'd have to cut my hair if I got hired there.

Dodgers Surging in the West
QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:23 AM) Kotchman is really good. I mean REALLY good. If he gets dealt, he better be in the NL. The Angels really should be patient with Casey. Morales is a stud too (not sure if he's better defensively than Kotchman you would know better Jas) but I really like Kotchman's upside. I could be completely wrong about this but it seems like Kotchman has had quite a few chances and hasn't been able to hit at the major league level. Once again, I'm really not sure if that's completely right but it just seems like he's had a lot of chances. Help me out here jas.

Thornton
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 23, 2006 -> 01:12 AM) Hell I didn't even know that. I didn't realize the Marlins cut him lose after the Mariners did. You've been kalapse'd.

Ya, the move that killed that team was Bengie. You don't let a catcher like him walk. Not only is he a great clutch hitter and hell he was just one of their best hitters period last year, but he calls one of the best games in the al and is just a great defensive catcher. The Angels f***ed up badly this offseason and they're paying for it.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 23, 2006 -> 12:32 AM) I love Aldridge even though Tyrus Thomas is a friggin S-T-U-D. God I hope when I get home tomorrow from work that I get to hear/watch the results. BTW, I would not be mad at the Bulls taking Thomas or Aldridge or even Roy. No Thomas. Love the other two though.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 23, 2006 -> 12:21 AM) And Phoenix stomps all over the Clippers. Good season for the Clippers though. And the last team left in these playoffs that I actually liked is gone.
