  1. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 5, 2008 -> 09:58 AM) I was a big "the O-line is a major factor being the worst in the NFL" guy this past year but Benson had chances and blew them. 196 carries on one of the 5 worst lines in the NFL = "blown chances"? Really? I will have to respectfully disagree here. 1 more season of this(with Forte playing well) and I will agree.
  2. another thing to note... Which Bears Running Back had a good year last year? Answer =NOBODY. Adrian Petersons career averages 2005 5.1 ypc 2006 4.1 ypc 2007 3.4 ypc Garret Wolfe 2007 2.7 ypc Cedric Benson 2005 4.1 ypc 2006 4.1 ypc 2007 3.4 ypc For fun... Thomas Jones 2005 4.3 ypc 2006 4.1 ypc 2007 3.6 ypc Is Thomas Jones a Bust for having 1 bad year? Why does everyone love AP so much if he had the same average as Benson? And as much as I find myself defending wolfe, you can not defend his numbers. Let Benson have 1 more chance (competing with Forte of course) Before we rush to judgement. It is very possible the OLINE was the # 1 factor for ALL the Bears RB's Sucking. Benson is NOT a bust... yet.
  3. Where is David Terrell? I have to say it is between Enis and Benson. Benson gave us a strong effort in 2006 so the clear cut winner is Curtis Enis. Sallaam was a late 1st rd pick, 21st overall. Mcnown was 12th overall so I am not as disappointed with those two.
  4. I'm not a Benson Fan, I think his poor play was one of the top reasons for no postseason play last season. But , I believe his side of the story.
  5. QUOTE (farmteam @ May 4, 2008 -> 10:04 PM) To be fair, Colombo has been decent in Dallas hasn't he? Yes. And the bears have MORE than made up for any 1st rd busts with the quality of picks rds 2-7.
  6. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ May 4, 2008 -> 09:16 PM) Doesn't bode well for Chris Williams does it. Brian Urlacher and Tommie Harris were 1st rd picks. Chris Williams will be just fine.
  7. buy online onecall.com is a pretty good site
  8. on pace for 38-0. Discuss..
  9. If we really need speed, it should be from second base. Leave the outfield alone.
  10. QUOTE (knightni @ May 1, 2008 -> 11:09 PM) It won't be unanimous. it really should be
  11. keep the flames on his page coming! This is my favorite
  12. I had to double check the date of the article. April 30th. This guy should be banned from the internet.
  13. hmmm.... I didn't find Jerry Owen's name in this sportsnation poll. http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnatio...g?event_id=3476 1) Who was the majors' top player in April? Rafael Furcal, Dodgers Josh Hamilton, Rangers Conor Jackson, Diamondbacks Chipper Jones, Braves Derrek Lee, Cubs Nate McLouth, Pirates Albert Pujols, Cardinals Carlos Quentin, White Sox Manny Ramirez, Red Sox Chase Utley, Phillies edit: look at the names he is next to
  14. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 1, 2008 -> 01:32 PM) I read it as sarcasm like the Onion.
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 1, 2008 -> 01:26 PM) Are you allowed to send personal insults? is that all you got? This guy deserves far worse .
  16. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 1, 2008 -> 01:15 PM) I liked the wheel, but you guys should try the nunchuck and remote set up. I find that to be the most "accurate" way of steering/handling. Also, even though I wasn't going to buy it, my gf ended up bringing home GTA IV yesterday because she thought I'd like it (awesome gf right?). Anyways, so I have the 60 gb ps3 and for the 2-3 hours I played it last night it worked without any problems. So far I'd give it an 8-8.5. The graphics still blow (but are excusable given the size of the game), the storyline is much, much better than previous games, and I really like the new lock-on feature with the combat system. But in the end it's still the same game. Get mission. Drive. Complete mission. Drive. Get next mission. I did score pretty quickly with some chick Michelle though, that was kinda funny. I haven't gotten the chance to check out the multiplayer. For some reason it wouldn't connect. I wonder if the servers are still down. Dude, The Wheel is what makes the game kick ass. I have no accuracy issues with the wheel at all, so why mess with a good thing? Besides, the nunchuk may be the most annoying controller I have ever played with in my video gaming life.
  17. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 1, 2008 -> 08:39 AM) I am a little surprised at the make up of my list. Overall, I always felt basketball players are the most athletic, with hockey players close behind. Yet, I think I have more football players than any other category. Knight changed it to Players instead of athletes
  18. wow Turnbow just could not get that last out
  19. How do Yankee fans have Higher IQ? I am here on the east Coast and I have run into plenty of "yankee fans" who have no idea who Robinson Cano is. Serious.
  20. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:17 PM) I think what you just witnessed there is a hitter taking what he is thrown and doing something with it in the clutch. Something our guys have not been doing The Sox have had 2 bottom of the 9th inning Wins and tied a game in extras against Baltimore, all in the last week. What do you define clutch?
  21. QUOTE (Soxpranos @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:08 PM) Angels win that trade. When that trade was first made it made no sense to me. Are you kidding me? Surely this is sarcasm. Nobody won the trade YET. If anyone did, it sure as hell was not the Angels with Garland's April.
  22. Wasserman's Weakness! He can't throw to 1st! Oh Noes!
  23. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 01:02 PM) The OCab trade looks terrible as of now. He's been a no show. Funny... I read an angels board and they said the same thing about Garland.
