QUOTE(longshot7 @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:26 PM) chemistry is overrated. definatley, just ask the red sox last year, it didnt get them anywhere

Hawk
I, for one, think he is a major staple in sox baseball and viewing a game is made better with him on the broadcast. The only problem with him now is that he doesnt have a partner to bring him back to earth. But still, I dont know how you can call him the worst broadcaster just cause he is excited about the team and is a homer. Have you ever listened to bulls games?? Brewers Games??? Reds Games??? Harey Carey is belove by millions, and he was the biggest homer of them all. I think Hawk's experience in the game, his contacts during his career, and some of the best calls in baseball make him a top pbp guy by far.

Diamondbacks @ Sox Spring training game
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 21, 2005 -> 04:15 PM) Indeed. It looks like his weak ground-outs from last season are back in full-force. He hasn't even earned a roster spot in my opinion. Ozuna deserves Willie's spot and Willie should be traded. I'd rather carry a 12th pitcher than Willie. I agree, I know there are going to be 50 people who disagree with this, but Willie has been outplayed by several of the invitees. I think Osuna just stole his spot, and actually plays the left side of the infield. Goodbye willie

Buerhle Injury Update
I broke my foot in the same way a couple years back while playing basketball. I have to say I could play the next week through the pain, and within 3 weeks it felt back to normal. Being that Mark and I are almost the same age, I hope that he feels the same.
