QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 09:54 AM) This is good advice...my hands and arms were scratched and marked up like crazy when my first dane was a pup...eventually he learned where that threshold was. Now, when he wants me to follow him somewhere, he literally grabs my arm with his mouth and leads me to where he wants to go, but he does it softly so that it isn't painful to me my rotty did the same thing and it used to scare the s*** out of guests when a 125 pount Rotty grabs your hand with his mouth.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 07:41 PM) I feel like TCU is easily the most underrated one loss team. I'm not sure why UGa is rated so highly. Eh, they should have two losses. I have no confidence they can defend anyone -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 07:04 PM) Mississippi losing to LSU greatly increases the chances that there will be less than 2 SEC teams with less than 2 losses. I may never say this again. ND deserves to be in the playoff IMO. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 09:58 AM) I'd draw the line at vandalizing the other campus or anything on it. Brandon forbid guarding until Thursday. MSU was guarding from Sunday. And Hoke apologized now. Jesus he sucks. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 08:39 AM) Teams of every rivalry are mouthy no matter how bad they are. At least Gardner kept his mouth shut. Even on your board it's mentioned they like to talk. You have to be prepared to get it shoved down yor throat if you put it out there. Dantonio thrives on that. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 26, 2014 -> 06:42 AM) If that was running up the score, MSU better get better on offense before they play OSU. I was listening to the game on satellite in the car until it got out of control and it was the MSU feed. They dedicated their whole halftime show to being so butt hurt about Mike Hart's comment, which was true at the time. Dantonio is doing great things there and he's such a baby with some of his comments. Get over it. You're the better program right now. Michigan players have been extremely mouthy for an average team since Hoke took over. Capped by the spork they drove into the turf, they were kind of asking for a response. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 01:03 PM) Didn't realize he was 6'3 but he isn't going to play QB in the NFL. Edit---maybe Miller should be the one who initiates that conversation. Meyer has no obligation to worry about Miller's future, his job is to try to get to 12 or 13 wins next season. Says who? He has a plus plus arm and OSU finally has a WR core. I bet he throw up insane numbers next season. -
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 09:27 AM) OK, I'll try here, why not. I'm looking to try out some wireless headphones, for my commute and workouts. Here's my issue though - I want ear buds or ear speakers, but NOT IN-EAR headphones. I cannot stand the feeling of these in-ear headphones that you have to literally stick into your ear canal. Currently, I use the basic Apple headphones that came with an iPod. They sort of hang in the ear, without sticking into it. That is the type of unit I want. But so far, it looks like all the wireless ones available really want to be in-your-ear. I don't care if if it is a hard rubber band around back, or just cords around back, or cords to a small control unit. Any of those are fine. Anyone have any advice? Most bluetooth earbuds are going to be in ear but there are a few that claim they hold to the outside of your ear like my nike sport pieces of crap that are absolute tanks. The issue I have found with the BT ones is that its hard to find good ones that are sweat proof, so I continue to buy the wired nikes for a few bucks

QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 09:27 AM) Urb needs to give Miller the "do you want to play in the NFL?" talk and try to make him into a slot guy or something. 6'3" slot WR with a rocket arm? 2 time conference player of the year at QB. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 08:34 AM) How do you make Barrett sit on the bench next year? Can he or Miller play WR or something? You just do, he's a redshirt freshman and Miller is always an injury risk. And no, JTB is not even remotely quick enough to be a WR. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 10:06 PM) That Ohio State loss to Virginia Tech keeps looking worse and worse, . What happened there? Barrett has been the next Braxton Miller since then Really the first game for a completely new defensive scheme and breaking in new players all over the place including the OL. Perfect storm to get upset. horrific loss. -
Its not just big time program, at Miami U our coach's wife taught a special course for players.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 01:37 PM) yeah, fair point, that argument is more about the men's bb and football programs than say wrestling or swimming, but for all I know they could have similar issues. Probably a few in other sports needed to stay eligible so they glommed onto the bball/football easy street.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 23, 2014 -> 11:55 AM) Yea, they are letting the director of African American studies twist in the wind for all of it. As if she just went ahead and created this situation with no prompting from anyone. She simply just went off the reservation and they are SHOCKED that athletes were given special treatment. Who is dumb enough to believe that story I wonder

I love that they pointed out no connection to coaches. Come on, this was a #1 recruiting tool to bring in most of those players. We have classes where you dont have to do anything, I'll always keep you eligible. LOVE self-investigation

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 01:47 PM) Well, except for Bragg, which I won't follow at all, this season's recruiting is done. A good class, not a great one, but got some much needed 4 star quality players. Assuming we get Paul back and he stays out of trouble, the arrow is still pointing up for Illinois. Now they have to get into the tournament and make a run so that recruits can also be sold on winning. As for Thomas, enjoy playing with your buddies and the 5,000 basketball fans that show up to TAM games. Bragg is the true swing for the fences type recruit, however the longer it goes on the less his initial relationship means to him.
