  1. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 01:46 PM) 250MB? That's like nothing! Delete a movie or some music, you can always put it back. And there isn't much Apple or anyone else can do about this, operating system installs require space to expand, store temporary files, etc. You'll eventually have to clean your phone either way if you're below a gig...you're going to run out of space at some point...so you may as well do it before it forces you. No music, no movies on the phone. They should be able to wipe, upgrade and restore as an upgrade feature. Should be basic.
  2. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 01:00 PM) Surely you can clear up 650mb off your phone. Do the usage and see what apps are taking up the most space. If it's your camera roll, plug it in and back it up to iPhoto. I've only been able to clear about 250 MB, and I gave up. There shouldnt be an obstacle to upgrade like this. Apple should know enough to be able to upgrade the OS without having to download so much data when the phone is plugged in. Pathetic really.
  3. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 10:57 AM) Absolutely. A signature basically is a non factor for authentication, a PIN is something that can be checked real time and is true multi-factor authentication. Of course things like Geo location will be an even better factor for true auth for payments which is why having it linked to your phone is an excellent idea.
  4. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 10:49 AM) If you are limited by space available you can plug directly into iTunes and upgrade. No you cant. it requires 650 MB of free space even if you plug in
  5. Id love to update my iphone OS but unfortunately it requires me to delete half of my stuff to even start the upgrade.
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 05:34 AM) What's the security like on this? At the risk of sounding like greg, I'm sort of suspicious of putting my credit card into into my phone which has a cloud. Swiping your credit card at the store is probably riskier. Your credit card info is probably in no less than 20 "clouds" of data right now.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 03:29 PM) Doesn't LSU have that Simmons kid next year? Could make them attractive. When is Bragg announcing? Whenever the bidding is over
  8. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 02:48 PM) On a sidenote, I still expect ND to lose another game this year and make it a moot point but I like Brian Kelly. Seeing so many of this big or so called big programs miss on various guys, I am A okay with Kelly and figure at some point we'll win a title with him and at least we'll pretty much always be in the top 25 with him here. Kelly is a first class dickface, but you take your lumps with him because in the end you would rather have him than someone like Willingham or god forbid Brady Hoke.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 12:31 PM) I am a Notre Dame fan. Killed me that we lost a game which we outplayed them most of the game (especially in the first half). That said, I tip my cap to Winston for getting hot and just dominating our defense in the 2nd half (and they did out play us in the 2nd half, just not as greatly as we outplayed them in the 1st half). I'm ending the argument because everyone has had ample opportunities to debate their point and at this point, it is time for everyone to move on to further discussion (vs. beating a dead horse further dead). Everyone has had ample discussion on the issue, now it is time to move on. Not the same argument as the ban warning one: I came away much more impressed with ND than FSU, I was saying to the guys I was watching with that I want no part of ND. Winston played fantastic about the same time ND finally wore down and ND still almost pulled out a prime time victory on the road at a really hostile stadium.
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 11:30 AM) If San Fran lets Harbaugh leave, I'll be the first to welcome him in Chicago! I don't care who likes you as long as you consistently win football games and don't have off the field issues. PLus it would make Michigan fans cry, double positive.
  11. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 10:47 AM) PS: I really like Robbie Gould http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...1020-story.html Well news flash to the media, screaming an yelling goes on in locker rooms, in every sport, on every team. Also, not all players get along all the time, on every team, in every sport.
  12. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 10:38 AM) Good summary, however you forgot to add that on the play that went for the first TD, they ran a pick there that didn't get called. Yes, bull rushing the defender and running into him to block is "initiating contact." Either one of those guys could have been called for PI. I cant believe this is still going on 2 days later.
  13. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 07:39 PM) That's the admission that the last one wasn't really a penalty when you have to go looking for something else. Actually I'm saying both cases were penalties but they called it only once. Your obsession is affecting what you read now.
  14. Nd ran the exact same play at the other end and it should have been called. Calling one out of two regardless of when in the game is totally acceptable right?
  15. QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 12:31 PM) If ND runs the table from here on out. They'll by far have the best loss of the non sec west teams so wouldn't they deserve the spot over MSU or Oregon? Probably. But that perspective hurts the victim narrative.
  16. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 12:07 PM) No tinfoil hat. I don't think the refs screwed ND intentionally. They got swayed by some timely acting and begging by the home team. Mistakes happen. No way that call gets made against a home team there. Yet you still think it's not a penalty. You spent your first three posts arguing before you even knew who was called on the PI.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 11:58 AM) That isn't at all what happened. Not even close. I know the rule. I saw the exact same penalty called against my HS out of the bubble screen, and it was still the right call. You can't block until the reciever has the ball. Period. ND7 is out blocking in front of the play. It wasn't even an attempt an an innocent rub. It was a full on block. Yup it's very clear to everyone that's not wearing a tinfoil hat.
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 11:15 AM) I'd like someone to describe what "route" he was running there. It's just funny because if the exact opposite happened...FSU runs that play, touchdown nullified, ND fans would be saying what you're saying - easy call, run blocking on a pass. I can't believe its hours later and the conspiracy is still going on. ND used picks 8 times that game and FSU clearly told the refs to watch for it. ND actually ran the exact same play earlier and magically neither WR blocked before the ball was thrown.
  19. Lol. So bad. Played a great game and the loss doesn't really hurt playoff chances and you have to ruin it with this stuff. The pick plays were frequent all night and they finally got caught on one. It will be ok.
  20. It's bad enough the domers aren't even aware who the penalty was called on.
  21. Dude don't post tinfoil hat message board posts from the domer board. You aren't Penn State and there is no conspiracy. He was run blocking down field during a pass. It's a penalty.
