  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 30, 2014 -> 10:44 AM) Rooting for LA, Minnesota, and the Rangers tonight. Who do I think will win? Who the f*** knows, it's a hockey game 7. Agreed on all 3. Pretty jacked up to watch them all.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 30, 2014 -> 09:46 AM) The easiest way is they do this is by extending the loan by a year and adding something like .5% or 1% on your interest rate. That adds up to a few thousand bucks after 5-6 years. The number one piece of advice I got from friend that sells cars at a dealership - be willing to walk away. They'll bend over backwards to make a sale if you're close. Also go to multiple dealerships if you can. I browsed 3-4 infiniti dealerships back in the day by different owners and they bent over to beat the other one's offer. I firmly believe in having a good relationship with a sales guy or manager and going back for repeat business as well. They are less likely to f*** you if they know you will be the type that will come back after a good deal.
  3. Rumor has it Tallahassee police are citing the crab legs for letting themselves get stolen.
  4. Jameis Winston arrested For shoplifting crab legs. Brain the size of a pea.
  5. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 30, 2014 -> 06:31 AM) Funny stuff from Puck Daddy: Eulogy: Remembering the 2013-2014 Blues The funny thing about Blues fans is they dont think their team is dirty at all. They literally think the Hawks won with grit and physicality.
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 11:21 PM) Boozer left without talking to the media tonight. f*** that guy. If he isn't amnestied I'm not watching a single minute of the Bulls next year. And his gf got into a fight in the stands.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:06 PM) After three years of disaster, the thought is that the Sox are going to buy off of his ONE good year? Oye. The fact that even one poster wants him back for multiple years shocks me.
  8. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:48 PM) Eaton came from Arizona....like...5 months ago. I'm also positive he knew how to bunt prior to getting drafted.
  9. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:46 PM) I'm not blaming Ventura for the loss, but putting a player in a position to fail should go against the manager. Can't just blame the player for a lack of execution. I hate that play regardless, but you still have to execute if you are called upon as a pro But it's still dumb.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:44 PM) Who's the last player our system produced who could actually bunt with any degree of confidence? Maybe Getz? Part of it's a symptom of the times, but geez, you'd think we would want to have one Japanese/Korean player (like Iguchi) who could actually set an example of how to do something so simple that most of us learned in Little League. Maybe coaches are afraid their best high school/college hitters will break their fingers or foul the ball off their face, but it has gotten ridiculous the last 20 years as a lost art in the game. Bunting is the dumbest play in baseball IMO. I detest it outside of a leadoff hitter who gets on base that way.
  11. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:38 PM) Maybe I'm wrong here, but Semien hasn't looked good on bunts. A good manager needs to know what his players are capable of. Therefore, that play was both bad managing and bad execution. Holaday didn't get the squeeze sign. And Ventura isn't going anywhere during a rebuild so anyone who continues to think that's going to happen should just give up now.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:36 PM) Worst loss of the season. I don't get having Konerko hit for Semien there at all, as Semien has more power than PK and has been clutch this year. It's April. We will lose many more games.
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:34 PM) Because their team made a perfectly executed play after we tried a similar play and failed miserably (again, and again) So that's managing and not execution? Classic.
  14. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:34 PM) When that hitter would be batting 8th in the following inning? Yes, you pull him and his tball defense. And then if his spot came up you would be chastising him for pulling one of our best hitters. Par for the course in game threads.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:26 PM) Ausmus showing up Ventura Lol, how? Just looking for blame?
  16. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 08:27 PM) Nice Dunn, being pacient has got him good pitches to hit Actually squaring up pitches like that last one is what has helped.
  17. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 08:25 PM) Worst at bat of the year for Abreu, easily. He wanted to knock in that run. Rookie mistake.
  18. I would trade Adam done tomorrow if we could. His numbers are only going to drop.
  19. Believing in resigning Dunn stops your entire post from being realistic. Adam Dunn has no spot in this organization past this summer.
  20. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 07:32 PM) I strongly disagree. If we're a contender, we shouldn't trade assets just because we're ahead of schedule. Dunn isn't an asset.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 03:11 PM) Well its a little bit you. And Rock, And Sonix. It isnt a bad thing, i understand the difference between theater of the mind and putting it to a movie/tv show. I just dont want to be let down, you know? This show delivers on so many different levels, and me and my buddy have a lot of conversations during and after the show. I would hate for me to have to stifle that conversation because I knew something was coming. This is the part when Steve comes in and cries about me ruining the Purple Wedding on facebook. Dont get me wrong, the show is awesome. I just love the books so much that I wish someone would replicate exactly what it is.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 02:23 PM) Im gonna read the books after the show is over, then re watch the show to see how i feel. Right now, I just see too much disappointment in interpretation, I dont want to ruin it Its just very different and you can see that some folks actually like the show better. The books tell each chapter from the POV of a character and there is infinitely more character and plot development. Its just very different and there is no other way to put that.
