  1. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:04 AM) That's not that bad......although it depends how much over/under face they are asking. Lowest was 94 bucks.
  2. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 09:57 AM) Not really looking as forward to Saturday as I was a couple of months back. Weather is going to be abysmal. Lots of people are chickening out. I will be at the warm bar for sure. 1500 tickets on stubhub
  3. QUOTE (Boogua @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 09:36 AM) I'm starting to wonder where Sam goes in the draft, if he even gets drafted. He had an awful combine. He needs to improve his numbers quite a bit during his pro day or he might be looked at as an undrafted FA special teams type guy. He's MAYBE a 3rd down specialist, maybe.
  4. Accelerator was awesome. Thats the type of exercise that you need after doing balance and abs which makes you looks like you've gained weight. Halfway through transition week to phase 2 and I want to get the serious stuff going. So far lost about 7 lbs and about an inch off of my waist.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 07:51 PM) One time I was on Southwest and this happened. I stress it was only one time out of the zillion times I've flown SW. The middle seat in my row was open and there were just a few seats left. I was assuming some big fat male slob would be sitting next to me as always. Not this time ... a perfect-looking woman, totally gorgeous, she was a 9 out of 10 looks-wise wearing appropriate summer clothing, sat in my row, middle seat. Ah yes, she immediately told me she had a fear of flying. She asked me to hold her hand as she literally could not stand the thought of the plane taking off. Did it have the makings of a Penthouse forum story? No. She told me she was going to Dallas to meet some guy she met on the Internet. After talking to her the whole flight and giving her pointers on how to not be afraid to fly, etc., she got off the plane into the loving arms of some guy who was about 5-foot-2 (shorter than her) with a fu manchu mustache about 20-30 years older than her. I just shook my head. I was smart enough to give her my card on the plane, but she never called. She must have married Mr. Fu Manchu. Ah, grand ol Southwest Airlines. I had a similar thing happened and we chatted the entire flight home. I then saw her waiting for a cab and I drove her home which happened to be in my neighborhood. I thought, sweet here we go. Exchanged numbers and everything. Saw her that weekend, and she was with her girlfriend.
  6. Um, how did I never know about Lindsey Duke. Wowza.
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 08:18 PM) I've always liked GR3. Liar.
  8. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 07:21 PM) Any suggestions on something to do downtown on a Friday?? Is there any place kind of like a Dave and Busters downtown at all?? That is an extremely broad question. Where about exactly?
  9. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 03:26 PM) Flying overseas, biz or 1st class is a HUGE bonus when you can get it. Domestic flights it is a lot less value IMO, unless you are going coast to coast maybe. It can be the difference between sitting in a regular coach seat vs a single cubicle with a fold flat bed and entertainment options. NIght and day.
  10. Pretty sure McCown knows that a lot of his success is due to our head coach, so going somewhere else probably isnt that great of an option. Plus look at our receiving core.
  11. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 01:32 PM) If I'm Cleveland, I'm taking Sammy Watkins at 4, a QB (Carr?) with their 1st round pick from Indianapolis and then someone like Carlos Hyde or Tre Mason in the 2nd round. You add that to what they have coming back and they are a potential playoff team IMO That would be the smart thing to do, but its the Browns. Just like their coaching hire, it will be a horrible decision followed by terrible interviews.
  12. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 12:01 PM) Rumor has it the Browns are extremely high on Derek Carr. I don't think he slips out of the 1st round. Also I'd love it if the Bears used a middle round pick on Aaron Murray. I just think it would be funny if the Texans drafted Carr.
  13. The transition week in phase 1 has been interesting so far. Its a big change on how much core and flexibility work that is in P90 with this version vs version 1.0. Lots of mobility and balance. I like it but the worst part about working so much core is it makes you look like you arent losing any weight since your core is all pumped up. I had a long lay off so I wanted to make sure to strip off belly fat as well as tone. Pretty excited about accelerator tonight, looks like a good burn. I am also changing up the Yoga day with heavy weights at the gym.
  14. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 09:57 AM) Really though, with the amount of high level recruits that come out of Illinois/Chicago, it shouldn't be difficult at all to get into the top 5 for a lot of these players. Like DePaul, they should almost by default be in the top 5 as the "home town" school. And they have been, even under Weber. But at the end of the day you gotta land one. Part of the problem here is that people expect the Cook/Conley/Oden class Groce had in year 2 at OSU. It probably helped that OSU also happened to win the big ten championship and made the tournament in year 2. For that class that he helped get at OSU it was pretty much recruiting a single AAU team, and Conley's dad really had a lot of input. It was kind of a perfect storm.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 11:39 AM) McCown, if they want to draft a qb late and groom him There a few decent 2nd round QB's out there. Mettenberger and Murray should both be there when they select next. Carr may even drop that far. It wouldnt be a bad idea.
  16. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 10:25 AM) Regardless of airline, it is amazing the difference between various flights within each airline and boarding routine. For a while I was on the same 6:15am flight on Monday morning from O'Hare to LaGuardia on AA every week. On that flight, by the time they finished calling the high-status groups, the plane was 90% full. And everyone was in the seats quick, it was like a complex dance. On the other hand, I remember around that same time on the same airline (AA), flying on a Saturday from O'Hare to Albuquerque, and it was me and one other dude in the high-status group to board. Do you know the A-terminal trick at DIA? You can avoid the security and tram bottleneck if you have a gate in the first terminal if you just take that skywalk across. The security lines are usually a ghost town over there. Yeah my early morning business flights to detroit and Minney have the same people, and we sit in the same seats and its boarded in about 10 min tops. Even the flight attendant is the same and brings the coffee out to who needs it. Its classic. The secret walkway is reason #2 why I fly frontier out of Denver. However the only issue is its so far from the wolfgang puck restaurant.
  17. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 08:50 AM) I don't get the issue with SW boarding. It takes approx 15 seconds to check-in 24 hours before your flight. And you're guaranteed, at worst, a B group boarding pass which means you'll have half the plane to choose from. Not everyone wants to board quickly, and I get that. However I like choosing my own seats as much as possible especially since you can choose to sit by certain people. Its a good way to ensure a 2 hour conversation with a cute girl on a flight.
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 09:01 PM) Planes that have assigned seating should board back to front. At least in the normal cabin. Takes so long to board the plane because the family in row 15 has to unload all their crap up top, into the seats, then finally get in, while everyone else behind them waits. Repeat over and over and over. It's the most inefficient process. All for 5-10 minutes of boarding earlier? What's the rush? You know you have a seat, and rarely, if ever, have I seen them not be able to take everyone's carry on in the bins or in the closet. Are you guys really seeing that happen a lot? It's the funniest damn thing, every time. People rush to line up way ahead of their group being called, then bull rush to get in...all to sit there and wait some more. Things would be so much more efficient if they just boarded a few rows at a time, back to front. I've never given a s*** if I'm in group A, B, C, D, whatever...we're all going to the same place, I have to wait on the plane a shorter amount of time, and I have a seat waiting for me. Sometimes they have that, sometimes they dont. If getting on and off a plane is a top priority of anyone do not fly frontier in and out of Denver. They actually have longer boarding times because it takes people a really long time to get on and off. I am sure its because of tourism and all the gear but also it seems like I sit next to a first time flyer almost every time back from there. of course they have Directv (like SWA does now BTW) and you can watch things like Blackhawks games in the air.
  19. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 07:07 AM) If I am flying an airline where I have an assigned seat, I always wait until the last group to board, regardless of which group I'm actually in. Way more comfortable to sit in the terminal for 15 minutes than on the plane. I usually don't carry on anything more than one small bag I can put under my seat, so I'm not worried about the bins being full. Thats literally the only condition where SWA is not ideal. You will have to "check in" early and get on the plane early. I get checked in automatically and are always A no matter what so I know I will have a good seat and overhead bin space, however I do have to make sure I am in the gate when boarding starts. If I am flying United I am usually the last person on the plane right before they shut the doors.
  20. I was literally saying the same thing about getting it to Vonleh. Yogi just won't do it.
  21. QUOTE (zenryan @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 04:34 PM) If I was selecting a QB, my ranking of the top 3 would be 1.Manziel 2.Bortles 3.Bridgewater Id have them totally flipped around. Bridgewater can spin it.
  22. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 04:01 PM) I saw Ryan Shazier weighed in at 237. I wonder if he could play ILB in a 3-4. Probably not. He will lose a ton of that weight over the season and will play alot in the 220's. You want him on the edge.
  23. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 02:57 PM) I'm hoping CJ Mosley falls to the Packers. Make this happen football gods!! I saw in on a Mock today. That would be big for them. I also saw that Evans could go to the Lions. Wow that would be tough. The two best players I saw last year live against my team were Mack and Watkins. I truly believe Watkins is a franchise WR.
  24. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 02:12 PM) Vernon Gholston is the biggest bust I can think of. Bleacher Report has a few others to consider too (though if a guy like Archuleta has 4 solid years to start his career, I don't know how big of a bust he is). http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1081343...ated-to-the-nfl Gholston was a classic case of PED's
