2012-2013 NCAA Basketball thread

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 9, 2013 -> 01:08 PM) OSU and Indiana fans can thank the basketball gods for this win. In most universes Michigan wins in regulation. Anything can happen in conference play. Clearly Wisconsin has owned Michgan of late. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Feb 9, 2013 -> 12:59 PM) that was a pretty half-assed court storming. Smart badger fans knew they don't rush there. So just the young kids went. -

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 03:55 PM) Why do you think he will be a bust? Because he doesnt do anything all that well. He's a solid college MLB, but certainly not a game-changer. In fact there have been MLB's that havent gotten nearly the press he did come out and be a little bit overmatched at the NFL level. Second, the MLB in the NFL is something that is kind of going away a bit with the onset of passing-based offenses and nickel defenses.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 03:54 PM) Yep that is all I was trying to get across. Im sure if I was an OSU fan, there would be a super productive linebacker who I would compare to Te'O. There are just tons of guys who make a lot of tackles in college, who just dont have the physical abilities to be an upper echelon NFL player. not this year thats for sure, all we have coming out is Sabino. Ryan Shazier will be a top draft pick but he's an outside LB. I like taylor and especially Borland. I think they both will be NFL players.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 12:32 PM) Fixed. Never. I keep them in cases and I only slightly move it left or right to get it to work. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 03:12 PM) You have a working power pad? OMG I'LL BE OVER IN 5 MINUTES. Yes, and it works like a charm. However its located in SW Michigan at my lake house. So is the power glove.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 01:44 PM) Im not sure what you are referring to. Mike Taylor Height: 6-2 Weight: 225 Monti Te'o: Height: 6-2 Weight: 255 Ive watched Taylor play every game in Wisconsin, Ive watched Teo 20 times. This isnt about Taylor btw, its about why Te'o isnt worth a first round draft pick. Te'o should be head and shoulders better than a guy who may not even be drafted. Kyle, What does Wisconsin have to do with anything? I just happen to be familiar with Mike Taylor. This is about why Te'o is not a first round draft grade, unless you are giving him the ND hype bump. I just simply believe the Bears would be fools to draft Te'o in the first, when you could conceivably get a guy LIKE Mike Taylor, for free. There are just so many good lbs, it makes no sense to overdraft a bad one like Te'o. Its not so much that Taylor isnt good, its that Teo is incredibly overrated and I think his numbers show alot of that as well. I think he'll be a clear first round bust if someone takes him there.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 11:27 AM) Yea you can see DJ calling for the ball there, and Indiana swarming him in that corner. I thought DJ was going to win it and I saw the ball not going to him and was like WTF, then I noticed Griffey completely free. -
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 05:59 PM) LOL, I still have my PS2, which I got the day they came out in October of that year. Still works too. My original nintendo from when I was a little kid still functions perfectly as well as the accessories like the power pad and power glove. Thats f***ing staying power.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 10:01 AM) I still don't understand what Zeller was doing. Yogi was right there to guard the 3 pt line for any kickback to Griffey. And he's got McClaurin who can't shoot at all. He should have been in the paint the entire play regardless of what Sam did. On the radio this morning Groce said they ran that play three times - twice to Richardson for threes and then the game winner. DJ was making them all nervous. -

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 06:36 AM) Man did that suck. Basically could see that coming with Indiana "going through the motions" all freakin' game. What a turnaround for Illinois. Zeller has to demand the ball and take it up almost every possession. Just no elite team this year. Incredible. I thought IU played good ball till the last 2 min where they looked tentative and their shots didn't fall. As soon as the whistles went away they wilted. -

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 03:38 PM) I'm surprised I haven't seen that yet, but that sums up my reaction pretty well. I was watching anyway for the excitement, but we had pretty good info we were leading and going to get him. Super stoked, he looked awesome in the all star game. -
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 02:45 PM) Cutler proposed via text and sent his fiancee the ring in the mail. For the second time, they were already engaged previously.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 11:17 AM) You should understand that it's not that simple. You will have trust issues going forward, even if she said she forgives you. Once trust is broken it will suck for life. Get out while you can.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Feb 6, 2013 -> 06:16 PM) Also, fun fact: The last time a non-SEC school won the national championship, all of these kids signing today were in 5th grade. Oh, and Rock, I can't believe Bell picked Ohio St. F'n Urban... You should never have posted this video of you watching the announcement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08E7q8qphyI -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 6, 2013 -> 04:25 PM) The only thing I can take from that is that I shouldn't trust those rankings. They are definitely not fail-proof but IU pulled in a great class by their standards this season. -
