The results dont, watching the games does. And like I said its not throwing elbows, its the physicality on the puck, the guys in the corner controlling the opponent. Think one more Buff-type of player. Thats to be a cup winner IMO. I love physical wings that upset the flow of d-pairings when the puck is dumped in. Thats one of the reasons I think the Toews/Saad/Hossa line has been so dominant. Saad is really good in the corners behind the net, Toews is a beast digging is out and with the puck and Hossa is just big enough to have great puck possession ability. They are a defensive nightmare and have been wearing down opposing D-men like crazy.

They still arent all that physical, which hurt them a bunch last year. They have holes, luckily the offense has covered up quite a bit of them.
