  1. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 06:47 AM) I don't know why reporters (male or female) go in the locker room to begin with, that just seems like something that should be private. That said, how was Sainz dressed skanky? I'm not talking about her bikini pictures on the internet, I'm talking about how she was dressed the day the Jets players supposedly started catcalling etc. She had on a white button down shirt that wasn't showing skin, and some jeans - yes the jeans were tight but we're talking about womens jeans, not mens jeans. She would have to deliberately hide the fact that she has a nice ass. Or she could have dressed like a professional doing a job instead of a girl going out for the night. There is a difference between wearing comfortable or casual clothes and what she wore and wears to her "job". She's well aware of the attention she gets wearing those clothes, especially when she does it in mexico.
  2. Rebuilding is a garbage term for a team that has s*** players and loses all the time. No franchise truly "rebuilds" especially in a major market. They can get lucky with some young players, but you cannot just "build" a team in modern baseball. You at some point have to make decisions to trade prospects and bring in players, thats how teams finally win.
  3. Fine as long as they dont dress like skanks and expect to be treated like nuns.
  4. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Sep 16, 2010 -> 03:29 PM) I happen to disagree with you on Rodriguez getting fired being better for UM. From everything I hear and read, those that have personal interaction with Coach Rodriguez feel he is very genuine and support him. Unfortunately, that is not the case for all UM backers because still have their panties in a wad that Les Miles was not offered the job. It's time to get over that. We're allowed to have different opinions so there is no need to get into a pissing match over him. You really think RichRod is good for the UM program? I personally think that UM is one of the best and classiest programs ever in college football. Since Rich has taken over the program, he has run quality student athletes out of the school and promoted a culture of non-compliance resulting in sanctions. He's spouted off to UM fans, the media, the students and even other coaches. He's showed a history of scandal and deceit in now two major programs and hasnt had any results on the field at UM. He put together the single worst season of any first year UM coach as well as one of the worst stretches in school history. For fans and faculty to be in up arms over there makes sense to me and I dont think it has anything to do with Les Miles. He has single handedly changed the image of the program from one that was highly revered to one that is at some times mocked in the media. I personally had the pleasure to meet Bo Schembechler, and although he was a firey personality on the field, he was widely regarded as a man with personal integrity and was high revered around football much like his mentor, Woody. I personally think that Bo would roll over in his grave if he saw the things that Rich has done to his program, both on and off the field. Like I said before, I think UM fans deserve better than Rich Rodriguez.
  5. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Sep 15, 2010 -> 11:02 PM) How about you re-read my comment! OSU completely dominated Michigan by 11 points while getting 5 turnovers. The game was handed to you on a silver platter. But none of that matters. My point was the original poster acted as if Michigan can't get within 14 points, which they did with 2 of the 3 teams he mentioned. Stupid post. Yours comes in a close second. Unless of course, you would like to read the posts again and retract, rather than try to put words to my name. Hell, go ahead and just start posting for me. Its the same thing. Maybe it would cut down on the amount of posts you put in a thread in a row. Easier for the eyes. And OSU generated the 3rd most turnovers in college football last year, they werent handed anything. They completely dominated the wolverines from start to finish and ran the ball out of the game which is why the score was what it was. If you think it was a close game or UM "handed" the game over, you need to either rewatch the game,. I went back and re-read your comment after I posted and my reply was directed right at your blanket statement that they CAN win 2 of those games, just like any team in the country could do against any other team. I mistakenly thought you had made a pointed statement, but in actuality you didnt really say anything of that nature. That was my bad that I read it like you were going out on a limb and actually saying they WOULD win games, when in actuality you said they have a chance to MAYBE win some. And I dont believe UM is tougher at all, in fact you lost your best player who just happened to be on defense, on a team that basically plays zero defense to begin with. We'll see where they are in a month or so, but my money is on DickRod being let go at the end of another disappointing season, which as a UM fan, you should be in favor of.
  6. QUOTE (BearingPro @ Sep 14, 2010 -> 10:52 PM) The WS had better turn back to drafting, developing and promoting. This half-assed piecemeal approach is not working. It's time to bring up the young guys and build for the future. I want Morel, Flowers, Jordan Danks, Jared Mitchell and Viciedo playing full time next year. Turn back to? Thats exactly when they have been doing the last 3 years for the most part. This is one of the more talent-laden major league teams the Sox have had as far as young players and the best minor league system they have had in quite awhile. Not really sure what you mean. Maybe you meant you are frustrated and needed something to possibly point to?
  7. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Sep 15, 2010 -> 03:34 PM) It shouldn't. Iowa is going to mop the floor with Arizona. I think so too. I think Iowa's defense is going to knock Arizona into next week and the offense will then takeover. I see a one sided game.
  8. Whoa, I dont know how I missed that the Iowa game is going to be at 9:30 on saturday night. Thats a huge plus.
  9. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 14, 2010 -> 12:39 PM) http://www.daytondailynews.com/o/content/s...ikipedia_i.html LOL, isnt it funny that the only thing you could find is a wikipedia disagreement about him?
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 14, 2010 -> 12:14 PM) They have been bad for two years. All major programs with a string of success have gone through bad years whether it is coaching changes or recruiting problems. It happens. Use your imagination on the first question. I don't have to use my imagination since sanctions from the NCAA are public. Dickrod is the only one who is in trouble due to his actions at two universities as well as his outside businesses. There isn't a coach in the conference that has been worse or done worse things than him. Frankly Michigan is better than what Rrod has given to them. This is the worst stretch of football this side of Fielding Yost that UM has seen and on top of it, he's begun to disgrace the school with scandal. Michigan and it's fans deserve better.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 13, 2010 -> 07:52 PM) Because it is always popular to hate Michigan. People like to mock Rodriguez as well, forgetting their coach has probably done worse things. Lots of sports fans wear blinders. Like which coach were you referring to that is under heat from the NCAA for multiple offenses at two different schools? Maybe people think Michigan will be bad because they have been and will be?
  12. QUOTE (The Critic @ Sep 13, 2010 -> 04:44 PM) The thing I love about fans is, if the exact same play caused the Bears to lose we'd have impassioned explanations about why the call was complete and total bulls***. It did happen to the Bears last season I believe. And I'm pretty sure 90 percent of Bears fans know that it was a bulls*** call, but we'll still take the W
  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 13, 2010 -> 11:56 AM) Convenient you ignore the 21 and 25 point loses to Wisconsin and Penn State, as well as the loses to Mich St, Illinois and Purdue. And really I meant this year, since I think you probably would agree that last year Michigan was not a top 25 team (at least I hope you would). This year is starting off the same - win against a team you should beat at home and a win against a much overrated and overhyped Notre Dame team. Last year Michigan ended up at 5-7. And I think that except for Penn St, the top of the Big Ten is even better this year. Is Michigan better than last year? Maybe. But still not top 25. The top of the conference is alot better this year for sure. Iowa looks flat out dominant, OSU is clearly a more complete team and Wisconsin's O-line will wear down just about anyone. Michigan definitely looks better on offense at the moment, although from only one guy, but their defense may be worse and the kicking game is still non-existent. It still remains to be seen if Robinson will even make it to the conference schedule with the amount of abuse he is taking and is going to take.
  14. QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 12, 2010 -> 09:51 PM) Do you freaking read? I said I think they can beat one of those 4. Clearly, otherwise I wouldnt be on a message board reading posts. I think you've had too much Maize and Blue koolaid because I dont think Michigan is in the same league as those teams. CAN they beat them, sure, so can a FCS team if everything went their way.
  15. QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 12, 2010 -> 04:26 PM) I said top 25, not top 15. 9-3 makes them a top 25 team. With 2 cupcakes, Illinois, Indiana and Purdue on the schedule I don't see why that's unreasonable. I think they can beat one of Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin or Ohio State. Michigan has two wins over BCS teams that were bowl eligible a year ago, I don't think anyone else can say that. They're not a powerhouse, but they're not overhyped when they started the year unranked. Let me get this straight, you are saying Michigan is going to beat Ohio State?
  16. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Sep 12, 2010 -> 12:48 PM) How stupid is this comment? Michigan lost to Iowa 30-28 on the road last year and to OSU 21-10 (and threw 4 interceptions) last year. By every method of math I have ever learned, both of those scores are within 14 points. Michigan still has a lot to prove but winning these first two games as an underdog was a huge step in that direction. Lol. Did you seriously bring up the OSU game where they were completely dominated as a proof to why they are good? Your team is an avg team at best with Robinson, against ND they lose with their REDSHIRT freshman in for more than a half. Dickrod is gone after this year and their mediocre talent isn't going to win them the conference for at least the next 4 years.
  17. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 06:59 AM) I'm still waiting for Anorexei Ramirez to bulk up. It shocked me when the say he lost 5 lbs. during last offseason. And became the best SS in the league.
  18. QUOTE (kev211 @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 11:40 PM) ND wins easily if Crist plays the entire game, and I don't think I am being biased in saying that. Its probably true, he dominated when in. UM's defense is weak but it takes a QB to exploit it.
  19. QUOTE (zenryan @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 06:18 PM) I cant take a loss but it is really annoying seeing the same crap over and over again under this coaching staff. Maybe some of the picks were bad bounces but OSU still made the plays while Miami doesnt take advantage on a couple of pick chances. We had a chance today but you cant be -4 in the turnover battle and miss 2 kicks and think youre going to win against a top tier team. Luckily for my Canes is that we play in a s***ty conference. Congrats Rock. Miami's front 7 is underrated. Spence singehandedly stopped the OSU running attack.
  20. Well its too bad ND didnt have a QB for half of the game.
  21. Phew. Though they were going to FG their way out of that game. 10 points given up by the defense, thats what I'm talking about.
  22. I love how Zambrano is playing his way back onto the roster next year, just in time for a slow start, a blow up, and a shelling from the Sox.
  23. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Sep 11, 2010 -> 02:25 PM) no s***, he could have easily walked them into halftime leading 7-0. Instead he tosses one right into UF's hands. Didn't stop in the 2nd half either. USF could of had that game in hand, but instead apparently had money on UF.
  24. LOL. Lou Holtz to Mark May "You talk all this stuff and you never have to back it up. You wouldnt even have Ohio State in the top 15."
  25. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 07:13 AM) Here is the report: The Chicago Bulls are interested in trading for the Denver Nuggets' Carmelo Anthony, a league source told ESPNChicago.com on Thursday. And while the source said that the team is holding internal discussions as to whether the Bulls would allow Joakim Noah to be part of any deal, Chicago has not reached a consensus. Another source close to the situation told ESPNChicago.com's Nick Friedell that Noah would not be part of an Anthony deal. The Nuggets are hesitant to take back Luol Deng as part of a deal with the Bulls because Denver is leery of taking on long-term contracts with the collective bargaining agreement set to expire on June 30, 2011. Deng is two years into a six-year, $71 million contract, the initial source said. So unless there is going to be some 3 or 4 or 5 way trade, and if anyone really wanted Deng, I'm sure he wouldn't be a Bull right now, the report is BS. Most are in the NBA. So "a league source" is your evidence of what Denver doesnt want? I bet its the same source that claimed LeBron to chicago was a done deal.
