Anyways, the ways that the sox got better this offseason go beyond the numbers as well all know, so it should definately be an interesting regular season. only a week til ST Man!with all the moves k-will made, it would be a HUGE dissapointement if the sox didnt win the division. it gives me shivers thinking about. that will be great for the sox to win the division and have them celebrating at the cell

i can live with .269, .337,.446, 10-15 hr's, 30-40 sb's, and gold glove caliber defense. oh, hes also a switch hitter. all i know is that i rather have him starting than Harris.

although i think willie can be a solid utility player, i dont think he fits into the white sox's plans. we need a righty that can play the infield...

i havnt read anywhere in the threads about the comments made by maggs about the tigers. i dont know....whatever..i didnt feel like reading all the threads

the tigers are a bunch of morons. why the hell would they sign an injured maggs ordonez? last time i heard they have a whole bunch of outfielders. they could have used a staring pitcher. with the money they are investing in maggs they could have gotten any starting pitcher that was available. they need pitching, especially in the bullpen. since they lost out on all the other big time FA's they signed maggs just to make a splash, not cuz they needed him.

did any of yous find the comments said by Maggs interesting? i did. Maggs said the division was up for grabs and that the tigers WOULD win it because they got good young pitching and he hopes to help them win a championship. the tigers win the division? oh, he said hes really excited about playing for detroit he also said that hes really familiar and used to playing at comerica park he has a career 259 avg their and ONE career homerun! ha, to think the tigers have the pitching, yea im sure its better than the sox's and twins' i just realized something after listening to all his comments...maggs is on drugs :headshake >Maggs looked REALLY happy, do u think it was because he was excited for playing for detroit or cuz the money?

i was wondering...do yous really think maggs wanted to stay? the sox offered 12 mil. a yr, he wanted 14. i dont think you leave because of 2 mil. he said he really wanted to stay. its like s***, u got enough money in the bank to last you the rest of your life. hes gonna die with millions in the bank, whats the difference between dyeing with like 20 million in the bank opposed to to like 25? i dont know, i was just wondering if yous thought he really wanted to stay. the reason i ask is because i dont see guys like buehrle and PK leaving over 1 mil or 2...i guess we'll find out with PK

Aboz56: actually i have to disagree. i dont think Mark will leave the sox. everyone loves him, theres NEVER been any problems with him. plus i don think hes the same type of guy as Maggs. if theres a good deal on the table, he'll most likely take it. plus, assuming he pitches the way he has, he will be a sox for a long time. the sox arent that stupid, they wouldnt let him leave. he wont make more than 12 mil a yr. his numbers dont really reflect the type of pitcher he is;he has an era in the 2's on the road and an era of 5 something at the cell, he would be phenominal if he played for the marlins, in the NL dont u think? yea, i just hope he stays, hes a great guy. sox fans would never forgive the sox brass if they let him leave.
