  1. White Sox general manager Rick Hahn clarified what occurred in a statement released at about 6:45 p.m. ET. "Chris Sale has been scratched from tonight's scheduled start and sent home from the ballpark by the White Sox due to a clubhouse incident before the game," Hahn said. "The incident, which was non-physical in nature, currently is under further investigation by the club. The White Sox will have no additional comment until the investigation is completed."
  2. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:44 PM) Jon Morosi ‏@jonmorosi 8s8 seconds ago Chris Sale involved in a "clubhouse incident before the game," team says. #WhiteSox Uhhhhh. Sale being an asshole again?
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:43 PM) Watch it be he failed a drug test
  4. Someone on Facebook just posted: Yankees announcers just said it's officially the flu but unofficially they think he's being traded to Texas.
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:36 PM) Barstool dude just tweeted something about his source. This is getting serious. What about his source?
  6. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:32 PM) The timing of this is curious for sure. Gotta admit, kinda want him traded just to see what they found acceptable. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:33 PM) Getting excited. Hoping it's Boston. This is definitely more exciting than watching their games, that's for sure. Just hope if they make this trade they don't blow it.
  7. QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:08 PM) Read the last article I posted. They really cant afford Sale without taking apart their lineup already riddled with injuries. Gotcha.
  8. I wonder if they are just saving him for the Cub series. Possibly to go against Arrieta?
  9. QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 04:00 PM) Well in other news we can cross off Texas...Giants have basically no shot. You really only have the Red Sox. Why cross off Texas? Did they just make a trade for another pitcher?
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 03:54 PM) Brian just said he has the flu supposedly There goes the excitement.
  11. QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 03:43 PM) Was just told that Chris Sale will be scratched from today's start. Stay tuned. https://twitter.com/DevanFink/status/756967741869985792 Huh? Exciting if true. Probably not though. Worst case is an injury.
  12. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 02:57 PM) I fact, if someone gets me his cell number I'll try hacking a tap into it. BR 549
  13. QUOTE (Lillian @ Jul 23, 2016 -> 02:14 PM) Let's try to analyze this from a different tack. What are the holes that need to be filled, going forward a year or 2: SS Anderson RF Eaton 1B Abreu DH ? C Collins 3B ? CF ? 2B ? Lf ? Trade Sale to Boston for Moncada and Jackie Bradley Jr., filling the holes at second base and centerfield. Boston could use Holt in center, for the rest of the season. Trade Robertson, Frazier and Melky to which ever teams could fill at least 2 of the other 3 holes, with young cost controlled players. You could include Lawrie, but he probably wouldn't bring back much. I'm beginning to get excited about Alex Call as a potential future outfielder. A DH could best be acquired in the Free agent market, and if Collins ends up at first, Abreu would DH. Keep Quintana, and hope that Rodon, Fullmer, Adams and Hansen, could fill out the rest of the rotation. Burdi and Jones might be able to hold down the back end of the bullpen. I would say Abreu is DH and 1B is a "?."
  14. Garcia in, Morneau on the bench. That'll teach him to hit a three run homer.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) How much do you think Robin wishes he could go home? He can go home whenever he wants. He didn't really want the job in the first place.
  16. QUOTE (Insp @ Jul 22, 2016 -> 09:23 PM) Saladino! Right after the pitcher throws him some chin music he lines one right past the pitcher's head for a base hit. Nice.
  17. I really like Saladino.
  18. Kinsler swung at ball four.
  19. Let's see how our Fulmer does in a tight game.
  20. So are we buyers again?
