wow, I hope it's a trade possibility and not an injury.

As trade talks pick up around Chris Sale, #WhiteSox scratch him from tonight's start. Matt Albers will go instead.

Bye Chris

matt albers? I can only laugh. if you had told me in May, at 10 over or whatever, that Albers would be starting a game in July and Chris sale trade speculation would be the reason I'd of told you to f*** off.

None of this s*** can be real right? Who are these guys exactly? And Fat Albers starting? Is that really the emergency starter at this point? It all seems fishy to me.

I will say this, if they are at all close to dealing Sale, then you don't take a chance with him starting.

I just take this as precautionary. But it also means that they have accepted sell mode. So while I don't think a trade is close, its moved from maybe 5% to closer to 15-20%

Oh man.. Either way it isn't great news for Sox fans unless we get one hell of a deal

I trust raBBit, but this info seems a bit fishy as well. Not sure what to believe anymore.

He might have the flu, or he might have the "flu".

I still take this as them being serious about moving Sale, or at least posturing that way. They're also punting on 2016, but I guess that was given.

The White Sox scratch Chris Sale from his start but word is that it is because of the flu.

Yeah I'd say flu sounds convenient. Trade may not be imminent but may be holding him back

I am not buying this until Merk or another beat guy tweets it.

EDIT: And that has happened. Wow.

My thoughts also

Albers? Serious? Wow, I've gotta watch this!

For any of you with tickets to next Thursday's Cubs-Sox game, you're unlikely to see Sale starting. I'll be at that game and was looking forward to his start.

No false hope boys. Burn it down.

Why? He should be making his next start for us...chances are he's not going to be traded

I wonder if they are just saving him for the Cub series. Possibly to go against Arrieta?
