One of the worst Sox losses I've ever witnessed
Bottom line is the Sox best defensive player committed an error (with a five run lead) and their best pitcher couldn't pitch over it. As for the decision to leave Sale in, he already gave up three hits and a run in that inning and had just given up two hits in the previous inning. That at least makes it legitimate for fans to question whether or not it was the right decision to leave him in.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 11:47 PM) JR will kiss his ass because he played for the Sox. I am frankly tired of it, just because you play for the Sox does not make you a MLB manager. Did they even interview anyone else for the manager's job before they talked Robin into taking it? They'll never fire Robin as long as JR is calling the shots. The job is Robin's as long as he wants it.

I'm glad he took his time and turned the DP instead of committing an error from rushing it.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jun 6, 2014 -> 10:06 PM) He'd be foolish He wasn't afraid to walk the bases loaded putting the lead run in scoring position. If he's not afraid to walk Abreu in that circumstance, he certainly would be foolish to give him a decent pitch to hit next time.

He intentionally walks the RH Abreu to get to the LH Dunn and strikes him out looking. Now why will he give Abreu another pitch to hit for the rest of this game?

Ugh Dunn.
