  1. Too bad you can't steal first base.
  2. Right now I'd be happier with Robert getting back on track then Yoan.
  3. Well then we're back to my other option of letting him play 2B while he tries to get his hitting back on track. We already have an offensive black hole at 2B anyway so what's the difference if it's Moncada or Harrison/Leury?
  4. Then if he's not injured you have to send him down to Charlotte to get himself straightened out. You can't keep running Moncada and Harrison out there in the same lineup especially when Tim is still out. I don't want to mess with Burger by suddenly putting him at a position he's never played before just to keep Moncada in the lineup.
  5. Is there a question that my original post was a correct post? Do you know what Gavin Sheets looked like in 2001?
  6. LOL! I meant 2021! I better edit that!
  7. Lowe looked like 2021 Gavin Sheets on that one.
  8. Find a way?? If he's injured you put him on the IL. Period. If not, send him down to Charlotte to get his act together or let him play 2B if you want to continue to give him Major League ABs. I don't understand this organization.
  9. The Sox seem to do the opposite of developing players.
  10. I never bought into the Eloy hype nor the Moncada hype but I really believed Robert was the real deal. Now I'm starting to worry a little about him.
  11. He needs to be the starting 3B.
  12. Jake Burger, ladies and gentlemen.
  13. I think AJ is much better suited in the booth as a color man myself. I'd love to see him replace Stone.
  14. Seems like a nice guy when he's interviewed or doing games in the booth. I always hear people say he's an asshole but I don't know that he's any bigger an asshole than Ozzie, Tony, or any number of other current and former professional athletes.
  15. You've had it in for AJ since he punched your buddy in the balls.
  16. All I said was he wouldn't quit on his team in the middle of a pennant race to pursue a job with another team like Ozzie did.
  17. Prepare to be extremely disappointed then.
  18. Ozzie says a lot of things. At least AJ wouldn't quit on his team in the middle of a pennant race to pursue a managing job with a different team.
  19. I was being conservative. I originally was going to write "near unanimous" but I didn't want to get any angry posts telling me "speak for yourself!" LOL
  20. I think we're over 90% united here against Tony LaRussa managing the White Sox. Don't spoil it by bringing politics into this.
  21. Players make physical errors. It's part of the game. What LaRussa did today and what he does on a daily basis is incompetence.
