I think the reason the Twins moved AJ over Doug Menkijhvpuyj is due to the fact that they could get more value for AJ because he is a catcher. Also, moving him to 1B would diminish that value in the future because he would then be a question mark as a catcher.

I love the fact that KW is not letting the prospect of Magglio walking after 2004 affect his bargaining position. Hang in there and get Perez, Mota and Jackson... at least.
