YOu can pick the same player twice within a week. And because of the way series run in MLB, we had decided to make the week start on Monday and end on Sunday. Sun-Sat would break up the weekend series into different weeks. Thank you for clarifying that for me.

Everyone says "this team is too talented........". Well, we've been at or near .500 for two and a half seasons now. I'd say the talent level is well established.

With all the flack that Buehrle caught over the St. Louis comments, I'd hate to hear what the mood of this board would be if Everett wore another teams uni while a memeber of the White Sox.

If Cotts is not ready yet, then there is no reason he should be put on the 40 man roster.

If Frank Thomas would have had a clear cut Frank Thomas of old type of year, he'd be there. Frank is a shell of the player he once was. He got hot for about 3 weeks this season. The rest of the time he has sucked as bad as the rest of our lineup.

I really hate to hear this. Ankiel just cannot catch a break. Well folks, he is a prime example of your "can't miss" prospect that everyone is afraid we traded away.

Youre darn right. I can think whatever I want and I think anyone who thinks Thomas shouldnt be in the AS game can go to hell. That would be YOU. You don't read very well, do you?? I said Thomas should have been on the roster instead of Carl Everett. However, Carl Everett got 58 votes from the players to beat him out. Why couldn't Frank get at least 58 votes from his own peers? I do believe Frank deserved to make it, but to go crazy when the fans didn't vote him in (twice), the players didn't vote him in and the manager didn't pick him, maybe there is a reason? Can all of those people be wrong?? Keep in mind, that there were 32 spots this year instead of 30 (as in pervious years) plus Sweeney's injury made it 33. That's 3 extra spots. Like Frank all you want. But if you want to argue that Frank got screwed then you need to b**** at the players. Or, just step back and have a little objectivity and realize that maybe, just maybe he wasn't good enough early in the season and it cost him. And that, good sir, is a cold hard fact.

He should be treated, by the local authorities, the same they would treat a fan that attacks a player. Then MLB needs to put the hammer down on him.... HARD.

Frank made a good run at it, but yes, those first two months got him. He couldn't overcome that.
