  1. Here are some numbers for Bears new safety. Allowed 5 TD passes, 148.8 opposing passer rating. Defensed one pass. Zero INTs.
  2. @MikeGarafolo: Bears announce they've signed former #Packers S MD Jennings. I would personally like to thank Phil Emery for this.
  3. I'm sure the Jaguars will sign Clemons. They signed every other former Seattle player. If your look for a guy just to rush the passer, Clemons would be nice player to sign.
  4. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 10:33 PM) Amazed Broncos have Ward and Talib signed. How do they have that money? Also, sorry site about Byrd. They are going for it all this year. They probably figure Manning has only one, maybe two years left. Von Miller, Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas are all free gents after this year.
  5. I still think Jairus Byrd is the only free agent worth signing. I'm curious to see where he goes.
  6. @AdamSchefter OLB/DE O'Brien Schofield has agreed to terms with NY Giants on a 2-year, $8 million deal. Schofield had 8 tackles last year.
  7. 7 million a year. Wow. That is like a million dollars per sack.
  8. @kentsomers don't know if this has been out there since twitter broke. hearing Dansby to Browns, 4yrs/$24m. $10m year 1, $14m guaranteed. 10 million dollars this year for a 32 year old linebacker. Browns.
  9. If the pilots were having problems, wouldn't they have radioed in that the plane was going down?
  10. @JosinaAnderson More specifics: Sources: DE Michael Johnson has agreed to a 5-year, $43.75M deal with 24M guaranteed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I didn't know free agency even started.
  11. @AdamSchefter Steelers will release LB LaMarr Woodley at 4 ET Tuesday, designate him a post June 1 casualty, per source. He will be free to sign Tuesday.
  12. QUOTE (scs787 @ Mar 10, 2014 -> 12:13 PM) That'd be wild considering what Griffen just got. What's a pack fan doin following Biggs? I like Brad Biggs, he's a good beat writer.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 10, 2014 -> 11:59 AM) shefter is tweeting that Seattle is now the favorite to keep Bennett @BradBiggs One source says #Bears offering $8.5 million per year for Michael Bennett and #Seahawks at $8 million annually. That is word around league.
  14. I think Tajh Boyd has enough talent that someone will take a chance on him. Probably in the 5th or 6th round. I don't see him going undrafted.
  15. Oakland has 66 million dollars in cap room. Jaguars have 55. These teams could offer someone like Bennett or Byrd money that they can't refuse.
  16. I'm starting to think the Seahawks let Bennett leave. He's a good player, but someone is going to pay him like he is one of the top DE in football.
  17. ‏@AdamSchefter Colts gave former Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson a four-year, $22 million deal including $11 million guaranteed. Colts are big on overspending for bad and old linebackers.
  18. I watched the Rachel Maddow clip. She didn't say Bush is the reason Putin invaded Ukraine. She was talking how we treat situations like this since the Bush foreign policy.
  19. Lindsey Graham @GrahamBlog It started with Benghazi. When you kill Americans and nobody pays a price, you invite this type of aggression. #Ukraine
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 4, 2014 -> 10:45 AM) USA TODAY Sports ‏@USATODAYsports 4h Colin Kaepernick reportedly wants Jay Cutler money. Is he worth that to the 49ers? (@Qsports): http://usat.ly/OWpttq What other choice do the 49ers have. If they let him go, there is no way to know if they can replace him. I don't know if he is worth that much money, but I think he is at least close to being worth that. He's better than Cutler, so I don't blame him for wanting that kind of money.
  21. It's never going to happen, but I would love to see Byrd in Green Bay. He's one of the only free agents I like and maybe the only one worth overpaying for.
  22. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 28, 2014 -> 04:06 PM) What about 77.25 wins? Is the .25 like a rain shortened game that ends in a tie and never gets finished?
  23. I could see 77 wins. Not 78 and not 76. 77.
  24. @AdamSchefter Salary cap projected to rise to about $133 million this year, expected to break $140 million next year and $150 million by 2016, per source You could see a lot of teams spending big money on their own players. Could make for a weak free agent market.
  25. Bennett is going to get crazy money this off season.
