Midterms 2018
Some states where Dems did poorly, but progressive state amendments did well. Florida voting laws and Missouri minimum wage laws as examples. California good for Dems, but some good progressive state measures lost. Rent control and public banks. Last night really seemed like a win some, lose some kinda night.

I'm never sure about this one. I feel it would either be brilliant or a complete disaster.

Well at least the Packers would finally run the ball with Fox coaching.

After the Packers fire Mike McCarthy I hope they hire someone good. Maybe Hue Jackson.

Yeah he's had some pretty bad drafts. He is able to take average talent on defense and make it work, which I think is his greatest asset.

I would bet that they completely blow the next two drafts and also keep Gruden around even after doing so, because they are the Raiders. Just for the record, I'm very much against coaches also being the GM or making roster decisions. Outside of Belichick, it usually ends in disaster.

They could be back to being a good team if they draft well over the next two drafts, but not with Gruden making those picks.

I'm not judging Trubisky as a Packers fan. Just what I've seen and what evaluators are saying about him.

Not really sure what Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl game has to do with this. I'm just saying Trubisky has been fine, but that stat line has been inflated by one game at home against the worst defense in football. He kicked their ass like just about anyone should have.

Take away the Tampa Bay game and its probably more reflective on how he's played. Definitely not bad, but there is a lot to improve on.

Also, Clinton-Dix wasn't their best player in the secondary. I'd say he was closer to the bottom.

4th round pick is what they were going to get as a comp for him leaving in free agency. He is an inconstant player.

I'm sure they could probably trade him. He has some talent, not sure how high a ceiling. He is also hurt a lot. If that story is true and he threw a fit and than took the ball out after the coaches told him not to. How do you not cut him?

Yes, it was bad. Hate to see players lose their jobs, but they should cut him today.

Kinda. The Vikings have made the playoffs 5x times(probably 6 after this year) since Rodgers first starting year in 2008. Including twice making it to the NFC Championship. Lions have made the playoffs three times and the Bears made it the NFC championship once. Buffalo has made the playoffs once(last year at 9-7) in the past 19 years. Dolphins have made the playoffs twice in the past 17 years. Closest thing they had to a challenge is the Jets teams in 2009 and 2010. They haven't been back to the playoffs since. So the NFC North hasn't been a powerhouse, it's been much better than the AFC East. Not to say the Patriots didn't have really good teams over the years, but I think playing in that division has helped them get a ton of home field advantage in the playoffs.
