  1. It happens for sure, but it's rare. Once a decade a team will come across with an unstoppable defense. I just think it's going to be even less likely now that the NFL wants more and more offense.
  2. The P. Manning one sure. Wilson was good from year one. Eli Manning has had a really good career outside the playoffs and Super Bowls. He was also great in the playoffs the two years they won.
  3. Only 11 teams have won the super bowl without a hall of fame QB out of 52. In the past 25 years, two of the four non-hall of fame QBs had great playoffs. Flacco - 11td - 0 int - 1142 yards Foles - 6td - 1 int - 971 yards - 72.6 comp%. The other two had historically great defenses, Bucs and Ravens. You can win without a hall of fame QB, but it's rare. You need a lot to go right. That Ravens team needed Joe Flacco to have a historically good playoffs. He had to be perfect, otherwise they don't win in the playoffs.

  5. Yes, this is correct. Officials are still being inconsistent with the bad rule.
  6. It just seems so unnecessary. Games are just penalty after penalty. Qb's are still going to get hurt, look at Rodgers and Jimmy G. Nothing you can do about it. I don't want to go back to the days where cornerbacks could just tackle a WR and teams scored like 10 points a game, but at some point you have to let some stuff go. I feel like they had a good balance about 5-7 years ago. They just keep adding and it's just kills the flow of a game. I'm not someone who is going to be like "boycott the NFL" or anything like that, but I have definitely cut down my watching of games. I'll watch the Packers and then maybe the Bears game, but besides that I just don't have the interest. I hope they come to their senses cause I love watching football.
  7. Inside Barstool Sports’ Culture of Online Hate: ‘They Treat Sexual Harassment and Cyberbullying as a Game’ This website and everyone involved with it is disgusting.
  8. Two weeks in a row with really bad calls and it's not just his. Kendricks got called on one against Rodgers that was similar. I would just love for an official to explain in that situation what he could have done differently. Should he have just run up to Smith and pushed him down? Maybe he should have just picked him up in like a bear hug and held him until the whistle is blown. There is also a lack of consistency, Payne picked up Rodgers and slammed him to the ground and landed on him with all his body weight and no call. I don't think that was roughing the passer either, but if you call the one on Matthews, you have to call the other one.
  9. To sack a QB now you must first put down a pillow and gently take him to the ground.
  10. I understand this, but when you post political views that I find something wrong with. I'm going to argue it.
  11. 1. Uh, I don't really see a lot of this. I don't really see a lot of actors saying we should be a Marxist country and if they are I don't see kids suddenly being super influenced by it. 2. I don't think people who say things like " you don't know what real socialism is" really know what socialism is. 3. Most don't have a military budget because they see how destructive it is to spend all your nation's resources on it.
  12. Browns got some pretty good players. This draft is looking good and actually last years produced a couple pretty good players. I don't know what their ceiling is, but there are way worse teams than them out there. Arizona, Buffalo, NYG all come to mind.
  13. People often wonder why victims don't say anything or when they do it's years later. What happens in that article is why. I couldn't imagine the pain that person went through and then to be attacked the way she was is beyond horrific. I don't remember last time I read something that made me that angry.
  14. Happy that the Browns finally won a game this century. Mayfield looked good, I have no idea what they were doing with Taylor the first two games.
  15. Something tells me Jake Tapper won't do 40 segments of "how are we going to pay for this?" on his show like he did with medicare for all.
  16. School just started and when things slow down a little I will go volunteer with DSA, who I already donate to. If you think I'm going to volunteer for someone like Dan Lipinski or some other garbage Democrat just because they are a Democrat.
  17. Sorry, I'm not a McCain apologist. He was an awful politician who would have probably had us in 10 wars right now, so I don't think it's a false equivalency. I'm not volunteering for anyone. I have a job that requires me to work 50 hours a week and I'm currently in school 10 hours a week. I donate money when I can, but money is tight.
  18. Yeah, I'm not too excited about this one. I O'Rourke, but come election day there is going to be a lot of "sorry your name is not in the voter roll" or "we closed this polling station, you have use the one 100 miles away".
  19. Nothing really out of the normal for Republicans. Typical stuff like O'Rourke is going to turn the state gay and ban BBQ.
  20. The Bernie voters who defected to Trump, explained by a political scientist 12% of Sanders voters went to Trump 25% of Clinton supporters went to McCain. Clinton bros! Hell, 13% of Obama voters from the previous election voted for Trump. "Bernie Bros" was a saying that was used heavily by Clinton supporters and not many other people. People like Al Giordano and Neera Tanden used it a lot to claim that all male Sanders supporters hated women or something because they didn't like Clinton. Funny enough Giordano was later accused of sexual harassment and Tanden helped expose a victim of sexual harassment. Funny how that works.
  21. They shouldn't trade him, especially to the Patriots. I doubt they would actually trade. So, he will definitely be traded.
  22. Uh, did you try and rape someone? These people are all ghouls.
