My brother lives in Downers Grove and I know he will be voting for Sean Casten. I was looking at voting map from the 2016 election and I was surprised that Downers Grove, Naperville and some other western suburbs went to Clinton and in some cases pretty heavily. I would have thought it went to Trump.

Wouldn't an impeachment be a disaster for the party? Sure you get rid of Trump, but what happens after. Pence is president for maybe a year and half and then he would get crushed in a general election. He just dosen't bring out the anger in people like Trump does. So would Republicans primary him?

It would be funny as hell if he beat Cruz. Trump would go on Twitter and call Cruz a loser.

He definitely needs to have clearer examples of where he stands on things. I'm sure he would if he runs again. He's still one of the only Democrats that continues to support the Iran deal and be active about it. As president he would cut off selling arms to Saudi Arabia, continue to work with Iran, fully open relations with Cuba. That alone would make his foreign policy better than just about anyone else in the past 20 years. He needs to be more clear about ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Scaling back or ending drone bombings. Also, putting sanctions on Israel.

It's good question. Although I think it's more liberals that have that problem. They are afraid to be mean, maybe? Also, this idea that Bernie Sanders has a lack of knowledge about foreign affairs is ridiculous. He just isn't calling for bombing every other country every day. His foreign policy isn't his strong suit, but he has been one of the only people in congress to call for the end of arms sales to Saudi Arabia and one of the only people to criticize Israel.

My brother is a huge fan, so I've seen him a bunch of times. Always a good show.

My first concert was Paul McCartney at Milwaukee County Stadium. It was the tour for his album Off the Ground. I was probably only like 12, but I remember it being a really good show. First albums I bought were all the Beatles albums.

Arizona GOP Senate candidate defends bus tour with far-right activist GOP senate candidate going on tour with Mike Cernovich, who believes that pizza gate is real and that rape is not. Has also been accused of rape in the past.

Why? Because she had a couple of slip ups on TV. Have you seen some of the people this country elects? Jim Inhofe once brought a snow ball into the state building to prove global warming was fake. Steve King wants a white ethno state. Ben Sasse promotes Jordan Peterson, who thinks that we should have government issued wives and that women who wear make up to work are asking for it. I could probably go on with at least another 50 republicans who are straight up bat shit crazy. I'm sick of the Democrats and AOC are "crazy and dumb" and "far left" for wanting things that radical socialist countries like Canada and France have. Meanwhile the other party continues to slide into the abyss and we don't get any "maybe they should rethink that and spend a month in a psychiatric hospital."

He once said that Trump had a 2% chance of winning the Republican primary. He admitted some of the mistakes he made, so hopefully he is a little better this time around, I just don't trust it totally.

There is just so much overconfidence. They could easily not take the house back and lose seats in the senate.

Luckily Nate Silver is never wrong and Democrats know how to win when they are supposed to.......

Vice President Pence in Des Moines: 'Keep standing with this president' Mike Pence sharing a stage and praising known white nationalist Steve King. King likes to retweet neo-nazis and talk about "white heritage".

A teacher battling cancer ran out of sick days. School employees showered him with theirs. The teacher took the bus to reach school. Then a student’s parents bought her a car It really is surprising that people are turning away from capitalism......

Elizabeth Warren Demands in Letter That U.S. Military Explain Its Role in Yemen Bombings This needs to be a growing movement in the Democratic Party. I will not be voting for or supporting any candidate that doesn't call for the absolute end of this. United States needs to end it's relationship with Saudi Arabia.

Seems like there might be something wrong with this religion if we cannot let kids alone with priests. Does the this kinda stuff occur with Catholic priests in other countries?

Nazi fan wins Republican primary in Missouri Uh, this guy won his primary. I love that there are like 40 articles written everyday about the Dems being too radical or extreme because they want people to have healthcare. Meanwhile the other party is like "you know Hitler was kinda right about a lot of things." Crickets.

Toward A Working Theory Of What The F**k Donald Trump Is Even Talking About Funny and scary stuff here folks. Not good.

Didn't Obama just try and do that? It made some things better and some stuff worse and Republicans just came it and blew it up. They were able to do so because it didn't do enough things well and still left the private insurance companies in charge and people hate them. Republicans have full control of the government and they won't do anything to solve it. All they will do is make it even more "free" market based so we end up with junk insurance. Congrats your insurance now covers two aspirin!

I think the real problem is there is enough people in this country that health insurance and their work provides it. They've had no real problems and they really don't give a shit if some people don't have it and could possibly go bankrupt because of expensive care or if they don't have proper access and they die. It's the old, I got mine, fuck you. Luckily that general thought process in this country is changing. Mostly do to the fact that private insurance is so bad that it effects almost everyone negatively.
-
Private insurance works so well, we have to keep coming up with new government programs to supplement it, because otherwise it would be an absolute disaster.

The midterms are going to sort this out. If the Dems do well she will stay, if they fail she will be gone.

I know you say that, but on just this page alone you argued that Russia changed votes, Bernie Bros were responsible for low voter turn out and the GOP using Bernie Sanders supporters against Clinton. I would rather watch Adam Engel bat on an infinite loop than read two words of her book.
