  1. Mahomes had a nice end in that playoff game, but they gave him problems most of the game. I think he only had 50 some yards in the first half and only completed 50% of his passes total.
  2. Those were two really good defenses. It's not surprising that he struggled against them. The Patriots defense really came alive in the playoffs. They gave Mahomes a ton of problems as well. I think Goff losing Cooper Kupp and whatever happened to Todd Gurley down the stretch really threw him off of what he was doing well. Gurley has to be dealing with an injury, they keep saying he isn't, but there is no way else to explain how one of most dangerous offense weapons all the sudden looks like an average player.
  3. I like how Jared Goff is not good now because of his bad Super Bowl game.
  4. Yeah, they are going to be a mess. They are getting close to being a complete rebuild.
  5. Packers should have a interesting off season. Lot's of draft picks and room for free agents(with a GM who seems like he will acknowledge free agency exists). Vikings and Bears will be limited by what they can do in free agency. Lions are the Lions.
  6. Easy 1-0 start for the Packers next year. 😉
  7. I was thinking about cutting off closer to a month. regular season - April - Sept. Playoffs - Sept - Oct. Something like that.
  8. I think it's going to be a tough sell for owners to just drop a bunch of games off the season. You would have to sell them on the idea that you might not have as many games, but chances of making the playoffs is easier and those games will be highly popular games and big sellers and good tv ratings. I think the other thing they need to do is have less day playoff games. I think they are the only sport that still does that.
  9. I don't think baseball needs to shorten games as much as it needs a shorter season. Not that making shorter games won't help, but I think a shorter season and a longer playoffs would make things more exciting.
  10. Yeah, I think with there being a lot of wild games this year, people were kinda of hoping for that. We were all thinking this game is boring and we could of had Chiefs vs Saints, which probably would have been crazy. Oh well, now it's draft season. I will now read 700 pointless mock drafts.
  11. It's amazing what the Patriots have done and all, but I just don't want to see them in the Super Bowl for a while. I don't hate them, but it's just boring. That was also the Patriots largest margin of victory in a Super bowl. 10 points.
  12. It's amazing that he only missed 6 games in his career and 4 of those were in the first year.
  13. I don't even know how to comprehend -50 degrees. It's going to be so cold.
  14. Unless Brees play really falls off they should be a pretty good team again next year.
  15. I don't know if it should be here or in the 2019 movies, but the documentary on the Fyre Festival on Netflix was wild. So many awful people just being insanely stupid.
  16. There should be a major pass interference and a minor. I think that pass was going to be caught, the WR was turned and going to make a play for the ball and the CB from the Rams pretty much tackled him before he could.
  17. He is great. I think he is doing the Super Bowl, so that should be awesome. Breaking down plays and telling us what might happen and he is having a good time doing it. It was like night and day between Aikman and Buck, who I like and think are a good pair, but Romo just gets so into it.
  18. I think they have been doing it for a while. The NFL could base the system off that and mess around with it in preseason.
  19. That might be the best way to go about it. If they do that they should give coaches at least one more challenge flag. The rules should make it clear that it has to be obvious DPI like we saw yesterday.
  20. I have no idea how that official missed that. Sean Payton should have been able to challenge that. Also, with OT being a big issue. I think in the playoffs they should just play an extra 10 minute quarter.
  21. It was so bad that I think it might actually result in a change of rules. Like the Jerry Rice fumble in the playoffs that created instant replay. I don't know if they can make every play reviewable, the games could be like 6 hours long, but maybe they could have some in the booth that can check a replay quick and alert the official if they missed something.
  22. Kind of sick of seeing New England in the Super Bowl, but at least you know it will be a close game and probably have a wild ending.
  23. NFL playoffs feel like just one long sudden death overtime. Every score has so much weight to it.
