QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 13, 2014 -> 08:19 AM) dont be mad bro. you can R-E-L-A-X now I'm relaxed now, not so much during that Packers final drive. Also Eddie Lacy was set on that fake spike, so I don't know what anyone is talking about. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 12, 2014 -> 03:33 PM) Those penalties don't get called on Aaron Rodgers' offense. He clearly pays off the officials. -

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 02:38 PM) Not that quarterback rating is the best way to judge QBs, but does football have a different variation of it that regresses it to league average, ala OPS+, ERA+, wRC+, etc? I don't think so. There is like Pro Football Focus, but I don't think the bases anything league average. -

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 12:59 PM) Cutler is Favre without the flair and drive. He's like Favre, but not good. -
Carcillo on this team is just a joke. He only played 4:43 last night. So you know they don't trust him, so why is wasting a roster spot.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 08:50 AM) And what are you going to do, chip him with a RB? LOL, no. At points last night they had three guys on him. -

Watt reminds me a lot of Reggie White. They move him all over the line. Inside and outside. He blew by the right tackle on one play last night and on the next he just bull rushed him right into the QB. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 9, 2014 -> 10:04 AM) I wouldn't want to be the one calling the players union saying "Hey guys, we are gonna eliminate 53 roster spots, OK?" You could expand rosters on the remaining teams. Something they should do anyway. Maybe have a 60 man roster. Could also expand the practice squad, like they did this year. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 9, 2014 -> 09:47 AM) I think the Rams screwed up first by locking themselves into that terrible dome. There should be a sister stadium right near the new Busch stadium. St Louis fans would be there if it was a competitive team and worth going. Unfortunately they combined to have terrible teams and a terrible stadium all at once, and now they look to get out. If any team needs to leave their current place, it is Jacksonville first. There is no reason to have a team there. At all. I think even in the dome with a really good team, they might do better. It will never happen, but I'm totally in favor of just getting rid of teams. Instead of trying to move them from one city to another. Let's just get rid of them. -

There are tickets for the Rams game available for 10.00. Ten bucks and still no one goes. I can't imagine L.A could do any worse. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 12:30 PM) Why is Holliday available? That guy was electric as a return man in Denver, did he get hurt? Btw, SS2k5 every time i click on that link about signing a rookie safety, it brings me to the front page of the trib He has fumbled 11 times in the past two years. Yikes. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 03:11 PM) I've been very slow to jump on the Wilson bandwagon, given the quality of his team's roster and how much less he has to throw than the other top QBs. But everytime I watch him play, I become more and more impressed with him. He's legit and he costs less than a million dollars each of the next two years. One day he is going to get paid big time. When that happens the Seahawks won't have the same defense they have now, it will be interesting to see how good Wilson is when he has to be the one to win most games. I like him more now, but I still don't think he is a top 5 qb in the league, probably top 10. -

Could be a pretty good group of QBs in this draft. I wonder if the Bears have thought about taking one in the first round. Are they to that point yet? -

QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 01:15 PM) I'll give you that Green Bay would be tough, but it has happened. As for New England, have you seen them play this year? They are just as jekyl and hyde as us. We did beat San Francisco in the opening game of their new stadium. I think that is proof enough that we can beat any of the teams we're discussing. It actually hasn't happened. Aaron Rodgers has never lost at home to the Bears. I'm not counting last year where he only played one series. -
Back end of that defense is worrisome. Everything else I really like.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 10:26 AM) Carson Palmer hasn't played since week 1. Thomas has been their #2 the last 3 games, just one hit away from being called upon. If you are a team with legit playoff hopes, you need to have a better option than him. (Not to mention, he probably shouldn't even be a #3, but that's another story.) Who were they going to bring in that was going to be any better? When you get down to the third string QB, you might as well put in a young player with upside. -

Jared Allen and Lamar Houston have been huge free agent busts. Should have just signed Willie Young and spent the rest of that money on some safeties. -

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 09:46 AM) If Cutler can't succeed in Trestman's system, then I doubt he can succeed in ANY system. Jay Cutler can't succeed because he is mistake prone and always will be. It has little to do with the system. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 09:03 AM) The thing is, that chip shot miss led directly to a touchdown for Carolina. Who knows what happens if Gould makes it, regardless Carolina doesnt start off with guaranteed good field position. You could also look at it if the Bears score a TD on that drive the game is probably over. -
